By the way Okiya sleeping first time.. it remembered me Akai sleeping in his truck. For me they look exactly the same. For me it's sure Okiya=Akai.

If it weren't for the fact that Okiya/Akai always wear high collars I'd've suggested the scarf was maybe a gift from Akemi and had something on it to identify it that Haibara couldn't see, like a message to Akai(or 'Dai' at that point :x) on it...
Still, no previous sign of anything like that and, even if it was something sentimental, I doubt he'd be so obvious about wearing it or keeping it in the first place.
Other than that idea, I was thinking something like a voice changer (though that wouldn't explain Akai, who could just really like high collars :x) or a scar. If he's disguised and it's on the neck, that's a difficult position to disguise, even worse if it's the back of the neck so he might not bother disguising it daily and leaves his hair to cover it. Not sure though really ...
Liked the case overall, especially Takagi and the Okiya-Ai scene at the end... though Megure being surprised at Conan appearing randomly twice in the same case was kind of funny :x

So it turns out Akai and Okiya's preference for high collared outfits was not a matter of dress preference alone. He probably has a scar, tattoo, birthmark, or some jewelery that he keeps on him. The pictures of him in the past in 802 don't show anything obvious, so it must be something small or something that happened later that Akemi informed Shiho of. I'd also like to say Sonoci's track record for doing 4komas on things that turn out to be plot points later is getting a bit unnerving.

Haibara had a lot of guts to go after Okiya like that. It looks like she barely hesitated when she saw he was off guard. This pretty much shows she thinks Okiya is not likely to be harmful, because I don't think she would risk the chance of getting caught by him while they were alone. Even if Haibara didn't get the chance to see what she was looking for, his block pretty much confirmed he has something to hide under that scarf. If I were her I would switch tactics and move to interrogating Conan about his relationship with Dai because Conan is a lot worse at lying under pressure and she has leverage over Conan. I suppose Haibara could take the cat-on-stairs tactic and try to trip Okiya so she can have a go at his collar.
I think she probably should have gone for his glasses though. She would have gotten caught, but the eyes would be a dead giveaway.

Still rooting for a ski case next chap with Okiya!

Yes, I had thought about this too.. pretty ambigous, though I can't see why he'd lure her to do something suspicious.

It's the way his eyes are turned. ^,^ with the , being Okiya's nose is awake while u , u is asleep. :X

I don't know what you're talking about here :V ...And I mean in the serious sense. I can only think of the neck one with Haibara tackle being close to a plot point. ...that wasn't even my original idea xD

That case was boring, after all this time, couldn't he find something else apart from "3 suspects, all ganging up against the police, and never contesting the proof, never calling a lawyer." The only thing exciting in the cases we had since a few months is Okiya and Amuro.
Anyway, Takagi being a bit suspicious of Shinichi this time was nice. He seems to be one of the few police officer with a brain...
