I got the Eevee since it takes too long to train Dratini and it'll most likely die before you get to Dragonite. Also, you can choose which Eeveelution to take depending on your team. I'm using Jolteon (which is the only one I haven't used before.) because I have no electric types. What should my Lapras's move set be? 1.) Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Surf, Psychic or 2.) Body Slam, Ice Beam, Surf, Psychic. It's a lax natured one.
I am ShinRan/HeiShin/KaiShin/HakuKai/HakuHei/ShinEi/MitsuAi. Got a problem with that? XD
Of course, I'm also a huge DraMione tard, but if you dare pull me into that rant, you'll be stuck here for the next five hours reading. Just ask those who read my 2700 word ShinRan rant on DCW. :PImage

I usually do Thunderbolt/Surf/Ice Beam/Psychic just because it gives a nice variety.

Oh, wow, I somehow missed this thread.

I would've joined as well, but I just don't have the time. ;__;  I'm so bogged down with homework right now I can barely think straight, much less form emotional attachments to pokemon only to watch them die due to some sad mistakes in judgement.

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

You should trade the Abra for a Mr. Mime. :D
I would if a freaking Spearow hadn't used Pursuit while I was switching him out :| :| :| *goes back to being extremely frustrated for the day*

Finally got over to beating Brock (a lot easier than I thought) with my Mankey alone (<3 Chien). I guess my near-suicidal Mankey is of some use after all. :P

EDIT: Got a Jigglypuff on Route 3. Is that good? :-X

^How lucky, I wanted to catch a Jigglypuff too...but got stuck with another Pidgey. :x

And yeah, Mankey vs Brock's Gym is far easier than I anticipated too. Probably was a overkill to level my 4 pokemons to level 13-15ish before going, but didn't want any of them to die. Thanks to that it also felt relative easy to get to Cerulean City though... ^^;

:V I thought you were allowed to bypass the first Pokemon rule if you already had the first Pokemon.

And I named my Jigglypuff McCartney. :P

Doesn't Jigglypuff have no attacking moves when you catch it? I found one... But killed it on purpose because I wanted a Nidoran instead. (because Nidoran can actually become useful.) I mean... Even Wigglytuff has nothing going for it... (the only game where Wigglytuff rocks is Mystery Dungeon. :3) I haven't had any deaths since my Meowth before Erika. :P I'm at Seafoam Islands right now, grinding...

Something tells me if I try to do a Nuzlocke, my sanity will be lost forever.

Are you using modified rules then? I thought if you fainted the first pokemon in the area, that's it, you don't get another shot? :-X

Yeah, that's kind of the idea. It's so that you can't plan your team, you have to work with what you've got, especially in the early areas. Generally the only modding to this rule is whether or not you allow duplicates of the same species and event Pokemon.

I'm level grinding on my way to Saffron City just now. While I'm doing this Nuzlocke, I'm still trying to finish the fic for my first FR Nuzlocke, play through and fic mine and Key's Emerald Nuzlocke, and fit in some school work between it all XD
