I usually referr to what is said in a comment, to what is generally meant.
If I had meant "surpassing normal paranoia" I would have said that.
It also wan't clear that you were referring to paranoia or something (at least for me)

Anyhow... The case being referred to wasn't a filler. It was the case that got overshadowed by the fact that Vermouth called Bourbon and Sera, Amuro, and Okiya all seemed to answer a call at the time. ^^;

I thought Borealis joked when he asked that.. or was it a true question?

subaru's theory says culprit after recieving the message went to 26th floor ,murdered the victim by pushing him from 26th floor(assumption)
and then went straight to ground floor where the innocents were already present.
while innocents did as they said.lets take it true until it is disproved

on first person,  since he actually put beer in glass when he got the message  ,i doubt froth can act as evidence.
however it is also possible that he did not hear his phone beeps when message came unlike other two who checked it right after

second person (most suspicious) no coffee spilled and why she didn't put lid on coffee when it was right there.

third person, why did he not end the smoke in cigarette when he should have yet if he was in hurry it may be probable
and if he was culprit the smoke would be long gone unless he light up one when he was out side the rooms and placed it in ashtray for takagi to see

this or that i am certain that culprit took advantage of time when he/she was outside room and takagi and conan were inside
meaning ,i rule out first suspect

PS: the cat-vase criminals had also surpassed no.... nothing

Most of the deductions in this thread don't take into account what was stated in the file. That is, none of the suspects could have foreseen that the police could have been able to get to their rooms so quickly after the murder. So none of the "proof" is something concocted in advance. After all, a normal course of things would have had the police get to their rooms long after the head on the beer was gone, the coffee had gone cold, and the cigarette guy's apartment burned down...

if we go by that, then the evidence of being the culprit would be something they didn't have time to erase or it takes time for it

as for the alibi each person had, it is supposed to prove they were in their room at the time of the murder so the suspects could think about those alibis. I mean, even if the police didn't happen to be nearby, the ones passing by would call the police and in another 30 minutes or so the police would arrive as well. So they should have a valid alibi for that situation either.
Since the old man sent messsages to all of them, it's possible that not only the culprit went to the 26th floor to try and kill him

I think the woman with coffee is the most suspicious, I mean you'll be rushing like the 3rd guy to prove that you're innocent with the coffee, after all as long as the steam there then you can prove she was there but she didn't hurry to do so.

So my guess is that she didn't bring it up because something in her room incriminated her or maybe that was where the true crime scene happened and she used some trick to make it seem he fell from the 26th floor

@mihai: Indeed. More than 1 person might have gone to the 26th floor, thus not making it possible to deduce the culprit based on the evidences left on their apartments. As far as who the culprit is, I have no clue. Which makes the wait for the next chapter even harder ;/

If he happened to have something in his pockets or maybe took something out of the bag, it might work. I think the case will become clearer when we find out what everyone was carrying on them and see a little apartment investigation in the next file.

there's can't be such trick in this case because the murderer couldn't have forseen the police involvement , okiya said that in this file.

if there's enough information in this chapter that reveal the murderer, is the tv, but we still have to wait and see.

i doubt he doesn't think that far
