I do not think it is vital that couples should have similar hobbies, it is a nice advantage though

how about Logic and martial arts ( I don't think music cause I just don't see Shinnich as musical guy, sure he can play volien and has perfect pitch but when was last type he ever showed musical telent ( not knowledge but actuall telent of playing musical)

Let's talk about Ran's upcoming birthday. I'm bet that Shinichi will return on her birthday. Hm..maybe they will are brought into contact and ran will confess finally.

Yes, it would be great if Ran confessed on her birthday! But I think she'll be sad when Shinichi has to go(again).

I'm sure it will be something great! Her birthday is the perfect opportunity to have another "I know Conan is Shinichi" showdown. The mixture of this, her birthday and everything would be a mindblowing drama. And their drama is always the best. <3 I mean, Gosho hadnles their relationship quite well. Well, most of the time.

Do you prefer if Shinichi have same hobbies with Ran (He practice martial arts) or Stay like now

For me, my answer is i like them just the way they are now.
Why? Because i like to see one of them complaining about others hobbies (how it dangerous or take too much time and attentions) and the one who being accuse try to defend his / her self while not wanting to hurt the accuser feeling.

*xpon imagining Shinichi complain about Ran trip to other city to attend Karate competition and when she ask the reason he will go blushing and murmur in low voice this: "there will be more handsome boy there" *

I personally prefer they stay the way they are now. They compliment each other anyways, even without the same hobbies

Once again, the "waiting for 10 years" thing is simply speculation. It may happen, but then again, it may not. It isn't exactly the best thing to build your argument on.

Not all girls Ran's age would want to date. Hell, I'm her age and I don't even want to go to prom, much less go on a date! You shouldn't force yourself to do something that you're not even sure about. In my opinion, that's what's happening to Ran: She's not sure whether Shinichi has feelings for her (at least, before London), but she doesn't really have anyone else she has her eye on, so why date? Honestly, I'd rather be single than go out and date some random guy because I want a boyfriend.

And finally, my own opinion on the topic that doesn't involve anyone else:

I prefer ShinRan to other couples simply because most couple nowadays don't have the same type of romance they do. I admire their relationship because despite all that they've been through, all the personal problems, the teasing from the general public, and now even the issue of Shinichi shrinking, they somehow managed to keep it together. It's definitely stronger than any modern romance in my opinion.

I did not see the latest episode yet, but I read it. So, I like Ran's role in it, but I did not like the idea that Conan does not think of Ran at all in this kind of situation, I mean not being even tiny bit worried, for me it was kind of OOC $:-\$

huh? He was worried but you gotta remember in this case it isn't JUST ran that is in trouble. there are at least 7 worth of lives to save. He wasn't conserened just with ran but all the people in Mouri agency.
