If the theory Bourbon is Amuro is true, then I have some guesses:
Amuro might have been a good guy, dreaming to be the police investor, so he went to the Academy. Soon he got bored of their ways and thought he dissevered more. He somehow got recruited into the Org. He betrayed the police and would supposedly be made a double-agent for them in the police force.However, he might have done something reckless and got dismissed, therefore he disappeared. during the time he was being a double-agent, Date might have smelled something fishy and started an investigation. The accident was a real accident though.
And I think during the time when they were just recruited, Bourbon and Rye met and some conflicts started. That's why he hates Akai so much!

I believe the reason Takagi and Amuro at Date's grave at the same time is only "Contrived Coincidence" Gosho just want to show them in the same they.
Why Date can't just say directly to give it to Natalie. Because it will kill the suspense of the case. As blunt as that.

But in the world of DC, there's no such thing as coincidences. :O

Anyways, I find it amusing that at the end of the case, we learned more about Amuro than Takagi. :3

I'm wondering why the camera angle is changing so much. Also: is there a reason that there aren't more angles? Is there something that would reveal the location if shown?

I also wonder if this is a case of seeing what is not there while looking at what is. Is the danger real? or is it just a clever stage trick and all Takagi might fall is a few feet.

Three things. First it is great to be right about the danger level.
Second I need to thank Gosho as evidence for Amuro not being bourbon just came in.
And third while I still do not believe that Bourbon is Amuro, I did raise the Idea of Bourbon being Kir's Contact ( Double Agent )

I'm glad people are finally on my side for the Bourbon is a mole theory I've had for basically ever. I think he is Kir's contact, and that him and Akai were bros, and used hating one another as a cover in case one of them was outed.

However, I still think Amuro is Bourbon.

But most of all, I enjoy situations where a person can save themselves, or if not at least acts pretty smartly, like Takagi who remained calm and rational.

Just read File 808. I can't help but think that there's something more about the notebook that Date gave to Takagi. And the ring. I don't think that Date wanted Takagi to give it to Sato because I don't believe that the two are "dating" around that time. (I might be wrong because the DC time is really confusing me.) Hmm... who knows Amuro might be after the notebook. :/

By the way. It's make sense that Takagi came late for Dates' death anniversary because he was sick. But why Amuro late too?

...Actually, this is a really good point. ...Why was Amuro late? All I can think is that he didn't want people to notice him there so he delayed his visit.

Perhaps he really was waiting for Takagi (or the notebook)

Then, when the policemen were all mourning over Takagi's likely death I wondered why they were so upset after all the time they've been angry with him because Sato liked him.  The world made sense again when they saw her kiss him, though. XD

I'd agree that if it was a situation where he realized Satou was actually there, and he was like "Hey, she's come to save me! I can see her panties too, awesome!", I'd be all "wat", but since at this point he was probably somewhat delirious as he didn't quite grasp at first that it was actually her, well, people take note of a lot of randomass stuff when they're dreaming/think they are

Pretty unrelated, but: I hope this tie-in of Amuro to Takagi's backstory means some possible involvement of Takagi in BO plots/Conan identity plots.

Anyway, did anyone else notice that there's been a major shift in the cases lately? I believe it was said in the cbox that Gosho might have gotten new editors/assistants. That sounds reeally likely considering how much quicker the pace has been, how the cases have been a bit more "bloody"/extreme and since there have been quite a few kidnappings/hostage situations with the main characters (the bombing at the agency, Ayumi in the rug, Conan *sort of* in the Online Client case, and now Takagi)

If it is indeed the case...I like these editors/assistants :X

Technically Satou tried to cushion his fall by using her jacket and was protecting his head from impact using her hands/arms.

Point raise by Xpon. Is Amuro a double agent?

We tend to firmly believe that Amuro is Bourbon due to our deduction, therefor, we tend to disregard to "normal audience perspective". What would happen when a normal audience found out Amuro is a friend of Date. We would think he's a police too, maybe on a undercover mission. That would explain how he got his income. That's mean he's a good guy albeit with some suspicious behavior.
But, Since we already assume he's a BO. Evidence that suggest he's a good guy don't match. So we think he live a doulbe live. As a police and a BO agent. But if we just assume Amuro never complete his training and never become a police. Deduction will say he's BO and BO alone
How do you think?

As for the double agent thing, after this case Amuro is reminding me of Leonardo DiCaprio's character in The Departed. (Where he played a police officer who excelled in the academy but was never officially known to be a police officer by anyone other than two people, and went undercover into the Irish Mafia).
Or maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see?

Btw, I don't think Amuro looked suspicious since no evil grin or creepy facial expression :/ he's just hiding from Takagi and Sato. But he sure began to look creepy at the beginning of the case!
