I think they lost because you keep overusing "hype".Jd- wrote: Heat taking the championship, hype.

Hmm I still have faith (well, "faith" isn't really the right word) that Miami will be making future finals appearances. Especially if the Dwight Howard trade rumors are true, making the East even weaker. Celtics are getting old, and the Bulls are truly a one man show (Boozer is a loserJd- wrote:Maybe in the Sunnyside Retirement Community league.ranger wrote: Spurs in 2012 with the lockout season.
The Heat beat themselves so often in this series--really just didn't deserve to win. As I was telling Crawla, the Heat really couldn't win even if they did win.
If they had won: everyone would be questioning if the three could have won championships independently. Immediately, the discussion would go in two directions. Firstly: "Should the league allow star players to come together? Does it make the game less exciting?" and, of course: "But can they do it two years in a row? What about three?" No matter how many times they won, it'd be about how many they didn't.
If they had lost (oh hey, they did): everyone questions whether it was worth it for the three to come together, whether it was a mistake, and whether they can ever win a championship. "Was this their only shot", etc.
Maybe over the summer they'll figure out what caused them to blow themselves up in the fourth quarter so often.

Even if Lakers get DHo (but I still hope Boston get him though), the biggest hurdle that the Heat WOULD probably face is another East Big3 in the making (NY Version), Amare-Melo-CP3???.ranger wrote: Hmm I still have faith (well, "faith" isn't really the right word) that Miami will be making future finals appearances.
