AHRGH! The plunnies! THEY ARE BREEDING!!!

Now I see Conan in the guild (so he and the others learn of the discworld) and Conan being bored at most of the classes.
And if anybody asks him where he heard this or that from, he says "I learned it in the guild"

And there is always the question about the dwarf bread: Would Kaito rather eat the bread or the fish?!
On which side is Vetinari?
How will the guild of theives react to the KID?

btw, have you seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vffl7NWmso

Vetinari is on Vetinari's side and, if you are very, very lucky, he might let you think that you are too.

Kid doesn't do organization. The Guild might be a bit confused with how to deal with a thief who gives it all back and try to kill him on principle.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DWARF BREAD?!

Vetinari.... right, he is worse than Vermouth.

But he does announce his heists and he doesn't really steal the things.
Maybe they are going to discuss him so long that he is already out of town by then?

Have you seen the film already?
If yes, where can I watch it?!

NOBODY eats dwarf bread. Not even dwarfs. Moot question.

I think they'd probably just put a bounty on him and try to kill him. The thief's guild might be organized, but they're not that bright.

I'm more interested in what would happen if Kid ever met Moist Von Lipwig. Chaos is my optimistic prediction.

The Beeb showed it ages ago, so yeah, I've seen it. It's probably online somewhere.

I can see Kaito whining about there only being fish for dinner and Aoko pulls out the dwarf bread....
haven't had too much to do with that guild jet...
What if he takes over the KID-task force? Or KID goes into the postal buisnes? (Air delivery)

I have searched for hours, I haven't found it.
(and what's the Beeb?)

Oh good lord, I can see Nakamori meeting Vimes now... and I'm running away very very quickly XDXD

Somehow can't see Kid as a postman. He might like mucking about with the wizards.

I guess you'll just have to buy it on DVD then :P

Also, it's not Discworld, but who's excited about The Long Earth?

The Long Earth is the next novel Pratchett's coming out with. He's working with a scifi writer to write it. It's all about parallel earths where things are different. Sounds pretty cool.

I'd say don't miss ANY of them, but ones you should go for first... well, the four Feegle books... the Witches books, particularly Witches Abroad and Lords and Ladies, Interesting Times, Pyramids, The Truth and all of the Watch books are my favourites.

I've only read a few of them, but am now starting from the beginning reading them in order.

Not since the complete series of Middle Earth have I taken up such a literary challenge. Wish me luck!
