I find it more interesting now that Akainu became the new Fleet Admiral. It just makes the Marines more of an enemy for the Straw Hats now. And I don't think I'll find it weird if Aokiji assists them in the future. Him joining the Straw Hats is highly unlikely though because that's just stupid.

I'm more interested as to how the thing with Shirahoshi is going to be dealt with.

I don't think it'd make them overpowered, but I sorta feel like he would never join anyway because he's sort of part of Robin's cast of background characters, and the whole "somewhat mysterious attitude/affinity towards robin" thing would be sorta destroyed if they just chilled on the same ship all day long.

I highly doubt he'd join the Strawhats because they are pirates and you know... he opposes them. He might support them in the future but I can never really see him joining the crew. Plus he's be a pain to Sanji and Usopp if you guys remember when he first met them after the Davy Back Fight.
