Where does it come from?
Google Image Search for "Schach" (German: chess), IIRC. It has been edited by... someone (nom? not sure) to be transparent, and resized a bit.

Why did you pick it? / What do you like about it?
Well, I like chess (duh ), and I also like that the avatar itself is abstract, i.e. it doesn't represent someone in particular, or a particular situation on the board, it only represent the abstract idea of the game chess, as chess is itself defined by being abstract.

Do you plan to change it?
No. I believe in having a unchanging avatar, in order to be easily recognizable, as most people remember users better by their avatar than by their name.

Would you like to have someone else's avatar?
No. While I've seen some great avatars in here which really fit them, they didn't fit me at all.

Also, could people just shut up about me being two people because of my avatar? As I said, my avatar depicts the game of chess, so, just like a chess set isn't two sets because it has two kings, I'm not two people because my avatar includes both players. A chess set with just one king is incomplete and unusable, and just one person cannot play a game of chess.

all I was able to find was that google thinks the picture is called "会 动 的 qq 表情", which translates to "The qq face that moves" in chinese.

or, from a chinese webpage with emote pictures, it's titled "See Marx! QQ expression"
