WELL WELL WELL.
After a couple of unrest less nights with this project im ecstatic(Not really.) to announce that its in a somewhat working condition. Your probably wondering what am i talking about... WELL IM TALKING ABOUT THIS:

Coded from the ground up i give you Mafia Helper Beta.

How to use:

Code: Select all

 1) Select from the check box's the Role's in which you would like to partake in your game.(Make sure you do not select both Conan and Shinchi. Same with Haibara and Sherry.)
2) In the text box's input a Players name in each one. (I know theres only like 8, Ill talk about that later).
3) Press dat button beside each one. (NOTE: Please... Press one by one. Dont spam click as it runs of a random number generator and it verifies if: 1) The role is checked and 2) If a certain number is selected via each role.)
3) Once a role is selected for each one open a text pad or something and write it down.
4) Clear the text boxes and enter in another batch of players.
5) ??????
6) Repeat
Bug's:

Code: Select all

-When switching the amount of players select the number and replace it with another (Highlight it and then enter it). This is due to it dividing it by 3 and when you remove the number without entering another number it crashes.
-Idk. 
Updates that may occur:

- BO score to match up with Town score to be able to determine a fair game or not.
- Deduction Selector

- Better layout

P.S. If someone wants to help me in some stuff that would be great:
Town Scores. I currently have BO Scores thought up (Anokata is like a point 4).
Also if anyone knows how i can be able to make a save. That would be amazing.

Nice idea :D

I could try to help with the score. But what scale do you wanna use? 1-10? 0-10? 1-5? 1-3?

And not sure, but I think it doesn't work when the name is just 2 letters long (Like PT etc).
But it was a bit slow, so maybe it just didn't work the times I tried it :x

I think the score cant be added due to the fact that each role really works in its own way and making a scale equal in both sides is too much D:.
Also When you click the button and nothing shows click again and again until something shows.

You could still try the score.
Like, situational characters (like Kazuha) have a lower score than a interrogator (since the interrogator can catch a BO more easily)
And in the end, it's just a number, the GM can decide if he looks at it or not :)

Actually, you could use interdependencies. For example, Vermouth, Akai and Okiya are better if Ai is not in the game, or something like that. And Gin is better the more interrogators are around. Eisuke's score depends on the Town-BO ratio and the distribution of abilities (few strong BO, many weak towns vs. many weak BO, few strong towns). Chianti is stronger if there are many protective roles, but Akai isn't in, yet the healers are stronger if there are few snipers (while Akai is stronger with more of them) and so on.

Also, I noted the following bugs:
- If a player number is added and then removed, there's an unhandled exception thrown (but it accepts negative numbers).
- If the"calculate BO" button is pressed repeatedly, the new score is added to the old one instead of replacing it.
- Also, the "clicking again" thing gets very annoying, why not just have it try only selected roles?
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.
