The Untold Araide Storyline

A long while ago there was an unsubstantiated rumor believed to have come from an Aoyama interview in which it was said that Dr. Araide would return and start an independent investigation into the Black Org. and would get into "hot water". It either is yet to happen or will never come to pass which, in my opinion, is a shame because, real or not, it sounded like a rather good idea.

What do you all think? Make your voices heard!

i am sure i don't need to say but why on earth would he do something that dangerous ?? and how would he do so when conan is not much succesful in that regard??

well i am certain of one thing if araide invetigates : He will be killed by gin.

As for why. Remember what happened. Vermouth with likely the help of the BO, was planning on killing Him , his family, and taking his place. I say that would be a good ground for revenge

Pretty much. If you want to read up on it yourself check manga: 457-459, anime: 361-362. He knows Jodie is FBI. He knows someone impersonated him with a disguise that was obviously very good. Jodie told him at the end his impersonator has killed people. He was apparently not told details of who his impersonator was or what she was like, what she after (he was told she did "bad things"), or who she was connected with. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know there is a whole organization his impersonator works in. He doesn't know much of anything, which I imagine would make most people curious.

I like Araide, I wish he would cameo more at least.
