I doubt that. And Amuro did that in the same file where Conan was pointing that out. I doubt it's just "coincidence".

No, I don't think Gosho is making any mistakes. I'm just pointing out via an exhaustive list of examples that characters with known handedness do not follow dominant hand rules 100% of the time. If you want a good perspective on the handedness of a person, you should make a list. Conan is right handed and uses his left hand and ear for his phone in a minority, but repetitive minority, of situations where he should use his dominant hand. When Amuro was caught off guard by Banba knocking him over, Amuro rubbed his face with his right hand.
I listed the phone usage at the end of 800 as opposite the characters' majority handedness because I want to keep consistent with the assumptions I outlined in the beginning of my list. That said, Gosho is known to change his handedness rules over the course of the manga. For instance, Gosho used to draw the watches of characters on the wrist of their dominant hand. This is most noticeable in the Shinkansen case with Gin and Vodka, who wear their watches on their left and right wrists respectively, but can be seen in other cases as well like Akemi's. Later Gosho switched watches to the offhand, and Vodka's watch is on his left wrist in 383. Vodka didn't change handedness, instead Gosho changed his rules. These sorts of changes or fluctuations in doing things are why it is important to directly compare characters when they are side by side. Keeping that in mind, in the example with the phone calls in 800, note that Okiya is using his right ear opposite of Sera and Amuro using their left. Okiya is clearly left handed. This would imply right handedness for the other two assuming Gosho is using consistent handedness/"earedness" rules within this case.

I have said this many times but I think Sera is Bourbon & Akai's sister.

Amuro's car took a lot less damage than I thought it would.

the small amount of damage taken by Amuro's car can only be explained by a low relative speed between the blue Swift and Amuro's RX. It can also be that the RX had a strong body on the side and that Amuro was driving quite fast at that time. The Suzuki Swift is also a newer model than the RX and the front side is moftly made out of plastic materials to absorb impact energy. Amuro will probably needs to change only the door and check if the side pillars have taken any damage, so it's an easy fix.

I'd love to see how fans would react if he did that.

well at the end of the case it said " who's burbon" which means unless Gisho is big troll and wants every DC fan to attack him... I'll say it is pretty much grantied at least there will finally be explanations on who the slag burbon is.

My thoughts were that Amuro is Bourbon and the promise was likely get Akai or Ai but not to hurt the others (ie. Ran, Conan and by association the other people around them) And it's likely due to the fact that she was grateful to Ran and Shinichi but probably gave him some excuse about the BO wanting to investigate further.

I originally thought that perhaps the BO had something to do with the robbery or murders for Vermouth to have conveniently found them like that. Though her having a tracker on Bourbon's car makes a lot more sense.

And the touching-the-face is more important than the phone one. Since I also swap around the phone to the right or left ear, depending what I'm doing/on the mood.

But I'm 100% right-handed, yet I still unknowingly use my left hand to "touch my face" most of the time I'm surprised, coughing, or thinking something...

On the matter of handiness. I will say this. First I am somewhat ambidextrous. I can throw better with my left, but I write with my right. My left can write, but not as neat as my right. I can throw with my right, but it takes more effort. MY mouse is currently on my right side and my right hand uses it, but I can just as easy use it with my left hand and on my left side. I do that indeed when my right wrist hurts and then I put a brace on my right and use my left more. My point is thus while most are either just right or left handed, there are a very few who can use both.

@User 4869 - You must understand I am thought of as crazy because I look for different reasons to what other believe, mostly because if the majority feels one way, then what I call the lemming effect happens and someone must make sure that they do not go over the cliff with the others. After all the majority is not always right, and if you go with them, you only got yourself to blame when they do indeed turn out to be wrong.

I find it interesting that now a few are thinking that this Bourbon is another Kir ( I think it could be her contact ) and is not a threat but an ally to Conan. If that is the case then Okiya becomes a possible Bourbon. Also as I have pointed out earlier, I find it interesting the possible BO is called Bourbon as both Rye and Bourbon are kinds of whiskey which could suggest they are one and the same. And I also find it interesting that We get Vermouth instead of Gin meaning this Bourbon might not be so BO after all but the possibility of either CIA or FBI enters the picture.

I really don´t think he will tell who Bourbon is right now, 2 of the characters are pretty new, he just put the three suspects in line and now he can play with that. I would find it very anticlimatic if he says who Bourbon is right now.
