The second one could be suspect and the shopping spree could be to buy new clothes and change hairstyle and hair color, also the boxed meals are not unusual since she just won the lottery as she says.
The third one seems the least suspect but the clue might be in the thrash(which is unclear since if you're a robber and a clue might be the garbage, you don't let others thow it for you).

I think Conan noticed something else we haven't noticed yet
I actually immediately ruled out the second person as a suspect, simply because she's the obvious choice. Buying expensive thing, moving out the next day... obviously, she's the first person Gosho wants you to think of, which means she is most likely not the robber.

I have my eye on the last one, personally. While she could be left-handed (due to the placement of the pen), she could also be deliberately setting it up that way. Or she could be ambidextrous. The cup being on the left doesn't really mean anything (for example: I'm right handed, but my cups almost always sit in reach of my left hand rather than my right).

The trash being brought up twice makes me think there's something important about it (probably the food containers Conan noticed), meaning the suspect is likely the second or third lady, and since I already ruled out the second lady, I'm settling on the third for now.

Assuming the author doesn't want to mess with the readers  ;)

Let's assume it has got something to do with being right-handed or left-handed:
- If Conan was sure about the first woman to be the culprit, he wouldn't have gone to the second. The first one is right-handed.
- He proceeds to the second one, so it is more likely for her to be the criminal -- she is right-handed as well.
- To confirm his suspicion and to exclude further possibilities, they visit the third woman, who is left-handed.
Now Conan could assume that the second one is the one they are looking for if the culprit is right-handed.
If the criminal is left-handed, the third one is the only choice.

If the author wants to mess with the readers, one of them fakes being right- or left-handed.
Well besides being thorough and wanting to exclude the other two suspects, the reason that I come up with is he didn't want Serina to figure out which one was the real robber (since she Serina would attempt to kill her), so he ended up visiting all three.

yeah, was gonna post this as well. It may not be to fool the reader, but it could definitely be to fool the person seemingly bent on murder-suicide :P

Huh... when it says the 'hair-raising and shocking truth' I have a feeling it's talking about something else other than for the climax to the case... and then it shows both Okiya's, Sera's, and Amuro's faces... I can't help but think this is the climax for the Bourbon arc...
Why? You never win the cursed war.

It's strange. I mean, if I got by process of deletion, the robber is obviously the third.

The first doesn't have anything concerning the trash, the second is too obvious (even her handedness) so the third would be an almost obvious choice. Almost because Gosho could pull one on us. The second being the culprit even while being more obvious.

@edit. Also, another possibility. The trash has got nothing to do with it and It's the first person (she was most likely right-handed). The trash could eventually become a part of the deduction somehow.

The hair rising and shocking truth!!

Amuro: "Sup Rye"
Okiya: "Oh hi Bourbon, long time no see! How are things going with Gin?"
Amuro: "Oh, not too bad. I mean, he thinks I still hate you after that year we spent as roommates."
Okiya: "Well I couldn't help it, could I? It's not like I can cook anything other than cream stew."
Amuro: "I know, I know... By the way, why is your sister chasing you? I managed to make her lose us, but still..."
Okiya: "You know, that time I faked my death... I have to act as a student now, and I don't get much for my internship. So I... hmm... Kind of... Taken over her bank account!"

extra panel, Sera lost somewhere: "SHUUICHIIIII!!"
Haibara: They have a scent, a scent all of them carry...
Conan: No wonder, they're drunkards

Another thing: The third suspect was actually sitting on a chair, you can see by the position of it. That could mean she was actualy working.

^lol. I kinda hope she calls him onii-san though  ;D

Okay, I read the recent file and I would bet my own money on the murderer not being the second one.  To me suspect number 2 is a big red herring.  Too obvious and too much of a coincidence.

Don't know why, but I'm not getting a vibe with the first suspect either.  I'm the most suspicious of the third one.  I can't say why, but I feel that she's the actual culprit, left-handed stuff be darned.

Anywho, I feel that the biggest clue is the garbage thing.  Oh how I don't miss sorting garbage in Japan and looking at those apartments, reminds me of what mine was like over there...only a tad bit smaller.

Oh yeah, I also think it might be the third suspect because...
Spoiler:
of her garbage specifically.  The other guy who was killed had a lot of change on him.  I know it's been theorized that he held a lot of coins on him because he may have used vending machines.   The stuff that the first suspect bought was from the conbini.  Oh how I miss those conbini meals (my garbage was full of those containers. lol)  Anywho, you wouldn't buy those meals from a vending machine at a conbini.  The other meals, I'm going to assume that you can get from vending machines, depending on where you go.  I've had beef rice bowls myself from nearby places (actual restaurants)...but yeah. If so, then maybe that's where she was spending the stolen money.  If it's in the vending machine, then they wouldn't be able to get in trouble for using it.  The machine can't tell stolen money from money that isn't stolen.  Also, they could've just used the money in actual machines that give coins back.
If anyone's already said that, sorry.  I didn't read back very far.   Last time I was here, only chapter 797 was out.

you mean if you don't make your new suspiciously acting neighbour and her annoying child to dump your trash then you are not a suspect??

all search for clues start at trash. if i were a robber ,i would never give my trash to strangers.

AND
remember the fake wedding case where the groom was the culprit.
its possible that giving trash actually proves that they are not robber as meeting the bride proved in that case.(pure  imagination.)

I am wondering about the first woman's line "So I'm usually sleeping at this hour." I am not sure whether she was claiming to be asleep and that Conan woke her up (which means she is blatantly lying), or was she just bad-tempered because she was up early and told Conan her schedule for future reference because she doesn't want to be disturbed. If it were English-speakers, I would think it was the second, but I don't want to overlook cultural differences in expressing that one has been inconvenienced. Opinions?

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

Spoiler:
For me, I think that the third woman is the criminal, based on the fact that the robber at the bank was shown to be left-handed. The first woman is quite clearly right-handed from the picture in her house-- the knives, forks, chopsticks and spatulas are clearly aligned for a right-handed person.

The second woman is shown to use her right hand to open the door-- but that does not show that she must be right handed, it could be due to the placement of her keys in the pocket. Also, in my opinion she is the one whom suspicions are most likely to fall upon, and there is clearer evidence of the third woman being the robber.

The third woman is quite clearly left-handed as shown from the inside view of her house from the alignment of the pens and the cup. The cup handle is placed in such a way which you would use your left hand to pick up, and the pens which she had probably put down are also for people whom are left-handed. Although the phone is on the right-hand side, I think that it is for her non-dominant hand usage, since you can multi-task by talking on the phone and writing an essay at the same time-- I do that and I'm quite sure it's possible, but for using the cup to drink, I put down my pen and drink water using my dominant hand-- because the cup will cover my line of vision and I can't do two things at one time, what's more I'm afraid of spilling liquid on my precious work-- especially if she claims she is rushing for her deadline.

Therefore, in my opinion, the third woman is probably the robber. Of course, it's just my opinion and it doesn't matter much.
