Jimbe makes more sense. I'm not against another female joining the crew, but the princess' power is a little overpowered. I could see her proving useful in the final war or something though it'd be a little anticlimactic now.

actually, she wouldn't be very overpowered imo, considering they hint that Luffy and Roger both had the power to hear the sea kings to some extent as well (even if it was just subconscious)

considering they still have the obligatory party scenes, journey to the surface and caribou/coribou/whichever one he is to deal with, I wouldn't hold your breath, we're gonna be underwater for a while longer

Well, that's true, and there's the Joy Boy  / Ponegliph mystery yet to be explained. Also how Nami is going to sail using a different Log Pose(a new one for New World). But considering Oda's pace on this arc was really bad, It's not completely impossible for him to
rush things up a bit.

Well I think that Jinbei might refuse because he's done it in the past and I don't know it just doesn't feel right having such a serious person with Luffy and his Crew... Though I really like Jinbei as he has become one of my favorite characters so I wouldn't mind at the same time.... <:3 And Luffy's crew would be a sign of Fishmen and Humans working together which will hopefully inspire their world to let Fishmen and Humans agree with each other without violence. So on my list, Jinbei being in the crew is cool but at the same time it seems a little odd.

yeah, I'm pretty much with you there. I'd be fine if Jimbe does end up joining the crew, but he doesn't have quite the same charm as the other straw hats. I guess the same could be said about Robin when she first joined too, but even though she wasn't all buddy-buddy in the jokes, she was still less serious and stoic than Jimbe seems.

Though if we get him on the crew, we'll finally be able to see his bounty poster so I'll know which way his name is actually spelled

Just noting: Jinbei won't destroy the balance of power since Luffy and crew are much stronger now and at least the monster trio are already on par or stronger than Jinbei. Also, Oda actually tried to add some weirdness in him(when they were making the plan against Hodi)...he is defintely not going to be the ''serious'' type.

Also, why spoilers anyway? This is OP thread, one should expect to read spoilers here. (which doesn't make sense since the file is out)
