I still wonder why the BO is not looking harder for Kudo. There are all kind of hints of him maybe still being around. Those two cases, Demon Dog, Shinichi Murderer, and case of poisoning at Ran's play (student gossip), London Case, Etc. all possible examples of him still being alive and well... Unless The BO needs him alive and the rest is a smoke screen.

As for Jodie and shooting a gun and Japan's Police, It is possible that orders for very high could that care of that. I sure that some part of Japanese Law Enforcement is also against the BO and Bo might be international. I believe there was a note about Shinichi Dad's getting Interpol to look in to it and even though Conan said loudly NO, he would have done it anyway.

Gosho seems to differentiate between story arc cases and other independent cases, and since it seems that Gosho just want to make a story in London (and Sherlock Holmes) plus Wimbledon euforia, he just brought Conan to London. The fact that Shinichi can easily transform (and not having to struggle not to shrink) shows that London case is just a variation and not really worth connecting with story arc (and BO) or APTX development.

Other examples of how Gosho overlook things that may attract BO are Conan's huge publicity every time he managed to stop Kid (and also make large fuss in Wimbledon final). If he wanted to make all cases to be related to BO, they should have been searching for this very famous and "way smarter than his peer" 7 yo kid.

Yes, it somehow make Conan famous. He still can't live without media.
Any B.O members has excuse to investigate him, as Ai keep reminding him.
I think Sera knows his name by raking up Japanese papers for reading and has watch tennis personally. I think Conan's face may broadcast in on video website as best moments.

I wonder something. Call it a theory if you wish, but notice they have not made an appearance since the Monster Party. Crazy thought as they put in place Okiya to watch their son, might they have found a reason to bring their son temporary to them for a family visit and as where Shinichi goes death and destruction follow, thus the bombing case in London?

@Tennis Subject: Wasn't it mentioned during a case just after the London arc that Yuusaku had got that covered up so all anyone else knew was that a kid had yelled out at Minerva which really isn't that big a piece of news. It was either during the 252 or the haunted house poisoning one... I'll check which one.

maybe we just overthink too much of tiny details, with Gosho just want to bring new theme and fresh (non-story-arc) idea to the series

Since Kid is a cameo character who seems unfortunately unlikely to ever be involved in the plot, it seems likely that the Kid vs Conan confrontations are effectively disconnected from the plot. You could make a point for arguing that anything that happens in them is non-canon.
