Are the movies considered canon?

Post by marioguy »

Are the movies considered canon? As in the same world as the manga. Shiratori came from the first movie. Does KID know Shinichi's identity? Does Conan have perfect pitch? Was Gin the one behind the twin tower bombings?

I think of the movies like LONG AO's.

But even saying that, there are clues that Kid might know who Conan really is in the Manga.

When writing fanfic, I tend to consider the movies canon except for where they clash with the manga, but really I do agree with the view that they're just long AO's.

AConan (see: subbed episodes 1-108) invented that term I think.
