No, several supermarkets and off-licenses carry mulled wine. My mate Alex brings it to parties for when he runs out of vodka. But the stuff at the Christmas Market is much higher quality.

Depends on what time of day you're drinking. Wandering around the Christmas fair drinking wine in the evening is probably all good, but walking down Princes Street at noon with a bottle of mulled wine just makes you look like an alkie XD For me, it feels like Christmas when the fair starts. I love walking down Princes Street and seeing the fair all lit up

I wish they'd never started on the damn trams. There's a reason they ripped out the Victorian tram system in the first place, ie the buses were better. They still are. Yay ferris wheel! \o/ I can't wait for the Hogmanay street party too
