Of course, I can't work today because I have to go to a dance performance this evening and I'm still not sure what time I need to leave my house to make it on time.

My mom's friend has a copy of Ibsen's A Doll's House, which has become known among Year 1 Drama students as "The Single Hardest Play To Locate In Edinburgh". Scoooooooooore!

10 week tutoring finally ended...

I finally get to sleep in on Saturdays! \o/

I just played a Go match, and my opponent was a deeply honest player. At one point in the game, I misclicked, and therefore made a move that would have cost me about 20 points (not too much, but still quite notable) just one move later, and, as it turned out later, that move was worth more like 200 points (an incredible high amount). Nonetheless, when I asked for a take-back due to misclick, he immediately accepted, completely aware that this was a severe loss to him.
Such moments are really... heart-warming. Even though he lost the game due to that, he allowed me to undo, with honesty as the only reason.

I went out to a local Chinese restaurant for my birthday tonight like I did last year. During dinner, three of the restaurant's waitresses came to our table with a slice of cheesecake with a lit candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to me. No one asked them to but they did it away. It was really awesome of them to do that!
