With regard to these two...

I will not make random comments to new members about a mysterious guy named Akai.  Then, when they ask me who that is, I will not tell them to ask Gin.  It's a good way to get new recruits killed, and Anokata would not be pleased.

"Sights" mean iron sights I think, which would be kind of useless (not to mention uncomfortable) if you had your eye right up against them... Although come to think of it that has been used before in gags...

You're going to have either sights or a scope normally.  I don't think I've seen a gun with both.  Same purpose, though.

I will not attempt to teach Gin the wrong way to fire any sort of firearm.  He probably would shoot my head off in about ten seconds, and I would like to keep my head where it is.

A martini is generally a mixture of Gin and Vermouth, if I'm not mistaken.
