I said this on DCW, but it would be hilarious if the brother (hair parted on one side, glasses, a bit foxy looking) was the guy from the Teito bank heist (wearing glasses in the pic) who the Detective boys tripped on the toilet paper. Remember he had a girlfriend he was calling right before the crime!

Oh yeah, I've also totally figured it out.

That woman isn't kidnapping Conan. You see, she really was just going out to get tea leaves and she decided to bring him along when he wanted. Conan, believing she would drug his drink, pretended to fall asleep and thus spilled the juice. Now annoyed, the woman is trying to phone the agency to see if someone's there to look after the kid who just spilled juice in her lovely car.

Obviously, this is what's goin' on.

Here again, Gunma has been mentioned and both  the case "cliff in Gunma" and in restaurant Columbo involved Yumi. Thinking of  her pretty but childish ex , I really wonder whether Amuro was the dumped one. She may turn out to be a plot-related character.

Can some one tell me what is this 800 chapter buzz about? From where are you getting the info that it will involve the BO? Has Gosho said something? Because if he hasn´t and this just come because is a round number is just silly, and I can see people whinning if it´s not a BO case when no one said it was going to be.

Umm, but if you go to the files before those, the story was already going on, it was not the start of a BO story... I hope is a BO case or the tears will drown the forum.

Besides, Amuro just fits the profile that "His face was pretty serious but his personality was too childish". So I find there are chances for Yumi and Amuro.

Though I have proposed the theory of Yumi and Amuro, I don't really find it very promising for the role Yumi has been playing in DC is still difficult to judge. But I agree that her love story must be of great importance and that's why she has to keep on her bachelordom for the moment.

I find it odd that the police didn't take Kashitsuka's cellphone as evidence since she claimed Dreadlocks Guy used her phone. I also noticed that Kashitsuka's phone has a lot of scratches, which may or may not be important in the case. Based on personal experience, guys tend to not care about their phones while ladies do. With that said, there's a possibility that the scratched-up phone was actually Dreadlocks Guy's own phone, and the one that he had was the lady's. But then again, if the scratched phone wasn't really hers, then how was she able to show a picture of her and her "brother" almost instantly for Kogoro and company to see?

Also, I just want to add something. It might just be me, but the lady looks troubled in the end of the file.

I noticed this too. I don't like it when Gosho ignores the standards of evidence like that because it is convenient to his case. Conan or Amuro should have said something about the scratches as well.

The scratched phone is scratched because it was likely in dreadlock's pockets with the coins and the lighter which is similarly scratched. Basically, she has dreadlock's phone and is passing off as her own.
The reason why is because "Kashitsuka" isn't Kashitsuka. Kashitsuka is the dead dreadlocks guy and the woman is pretending to be him because she wants the police to think SHE was the one going to see Mouri and not the interceptor when it is really the exact opposite. The name Kei can be used for both girls and guys and Gosho took advantage of this in setting up the case using a website where gender can be completely unknown rather than Mouri's landline where Mouri would hear the guy's voice.
Because Fake Kei is calling or texting someone on Kashitsuka's phone, and assuming Kashitsuka and the dead guy are two of the three bank-robbers and she is out for revenge for the death of the employee, she may being going after the final robber and is trying to lure him/her out. If this is the case, Conan guessed the current crime is related to the bank robbery plot from the amount of cash the real Kei had and maybe the dead guy's picture, so Conan realized the fake Kei may be off to attack one more person because there are three robbers, which is why he is risking himself riding with her.

The picture may have been transferred from the woman's real phone and then deleted, or the real Kei was the photographer for the picture which would mean if glasses is the dead employee, she was likely "betrayed" by the robbers when they killed her brother/friend. I'm for the second option because she paused before answering Amuro's question.
