Too easy for a DC case... There must be some awesome trick to twist the obvious fact or... is a simple case just to begin some kind of suspiction arc.KainTheVampire wrote: Now that was simply weird![]()

Too easy? Come on! It is like saying, that Columbo (TV-series, must-watch) is boring because the first thing you see is the actual murder, motivation, murderer and everything and then comes the detective.
Howdunnits are just as great as whodunnits. If it was too easy, then I bet you know what is inside of the locker, or who is the chick, what was the trick behind the whole thing etc. etc. *sulks*

Too be honest, I do sorta dislike that part of Columbo (TV), though it's still interesting figuring out how he'll trick them into admitting it...
Not to say it's boring though
About the case, I reckon it's a mixture of the stuff with the phone change and how she killed him while tied up that'll be the solution, not sure of the exact details yet though...

Maybe I didn't explain my point. The murder itself SEEMS too easy. Sorry, my bad.Misztina wrote: Too easy? Come on! Or anyone thinks that this is another suicide case?

I considered suicide, but I didn't want my brain to explode so I gave up on that line of thinking...

Not to mention that two suicide cases in a row might be pushing it just a bit.

I wonder what was the point for looking for that locker. The supposed murderer should have counted on the fact that the police would check the locker, so if the stolen money is there, I don't see why she should reveal it, unless of course she wants to blame it on the two other guys.
Would be funny, if he guy who was shot in the bank was actually one of them, I mean a bankrobber as well.

I think what we really need to discuss is who the shadow is! There are 3 theories:
1. It's just someone related to the case or the client.
2. It's someone related to the arc (B.O, FBI or CIA)
3. Gosho is introducing another arc-related character, preparing for file 800 (this is the most unlikely theory, since we already have too many arc-related characters for 800 to even begin with anyway)

Option 1.
"I wonder if there really is a God...
If such an entity really existed, wouldn't all honest, hard-working people be happy?"

I think it's definitely someone tho is related to the case. That would explain messages like "bring the others along". Or the very fact that the "fake assistant" entered the premises. Assuming that the woman did it (somehow injuring her hand while doing it?), it's probably her.Cider wrote: I think what we really need to discuss is who the shadow is! There are 3 theories:

On the other hand, I'd kind of prefer it to be someone related to the arc.

Kashitsuka Kei is also a valid guy's name. I know the chick said it was her name, but I wonder if that is true. Kei could be Dreadlocks and was the real client of Kogoro. It would make a lot of sense if the chick was the interceptor who pretended to be Kogoro's assistant based on Amuro's redirection scenario if she was the murderer, and the shadow person who looks a bit female to me. It also jives with the reason why Gosho introduced the webpage in this chapter: normally Kogoro gets voice calls on the phone which means he would know the gender of clients as long as they aren't making themselves suspicious by disguising their voices. A webpage removes even that info so the situation is ripe for a gender mistake.

Is anyone else slightly disturbed about how Amuro invaded Kogoro's personal space?

The lady is the killer, and probably the robber as well. Her story about being questioned doesn't make sense, given that her mouth was duct taped when they got into the bathroom. Plus, what about that text they were sent, telling them to come in? Besides, if the criminal had a gun and a hostage, why would he shoot himself at being found by two unarmed guys, a teenaged girl and a little kid?
