yeah, Chikage Kuroba ,Phantom Lady extraordinary ,woman with twenty faces, tool for counterfeit business who discarded her and was going to kill her and replace her with someone more loyal. Motivation and reason Kaitou Kid came into being...and very mischievous person...

and I think she and Yukiko could be related...they look alike...just like Yuusaku/Touchi and Shinichi/Kaito...and it implies to Ran/Aoko (Though Aoko seems to have smaller build) and for that matter Ginzo and Kogoro could be related too...but that would be way too many relations...

but has anyone noticed how Chikage's appearance has changed? look at the first MK chapter and the latest...

I think when it comes to Chikage, Aoyama's quietly pretending that her five panels back in MK1 didn't happen XDXD

The similar appearances of Shinichi/Kaito, Yuusaku/Toichi, Ran/Aoko, Kogoro/Ginzo etc are never going to be more than fourth-wall gags. In-universe, I can think of at least three completely unrelated characters who looked a lot like Shinichi, and at least one for Ran.

NO! it would be too much...
though if you think how their names are pronounced you can notice how eerily similar they are...damn the author...
especially if you are one of those who think Mouri should be Mori...which I am not.
but it would be nice that near the end Yuusaku would nonchalantly say something about Shinichi and Kaito being cousins while they are discussing the plan of attack against BO...
and yeah I do want KID to be part if it...

I've read that fanfic, too. More or less destroyed by the canon interactions between Yukiko and Toichi; the manner between them doesn't remotely resemble siblings or in-laws.

I meant that Yuusaku and Touichi are most likely either brothers (highly unlikely) or cousins.
Most likely Yuusaku is only one who knows this.

just an idea...if only those two knew it would explain Yukiko's and Touchi's behavior...

Yes But I am going to add to it. I believe Yuusaku know the true character and motive of Touchi. He knew he was like a Lupin and there was more in his thieves then just a cash prize. I being to believe that Shinichi like his father know there is more behind of the KIDS thieves and knows the KID might play an important role in the future. He has had a few chances to catch him, but keeps allowing him to get away, just like Yuusaku. I believe both could have caught the Thief if they had really wanted too.

That makes me think that Kid will have an important role in the "final battle" between Conan/shinichi and the BO... Just because Gosho must have an stronger reason than one like "he is kaito kid, they will never catch him "
