Ah, that's the other thing I was gonna mention: the DNA conversation. I suspect, if nothing else, that may lead into a "Ran suspicion" section again.

I had already assumed this was the case before this file came out. And he pretty much confirmed it when he said he spilled the caked on the guy on purpose.

Why is every1 still using spoilers? I mean, the file is out, right?

On the file, is it just me or a part of Banba's pants is torn off a little, on page 9? And Conan's says that there's time to think about the trick later, then that means it isn't an suicide, it was either an setup made by the bride to fool the husband to thinking she was dead, or an murder.

I think after the bride found out they were in the same fire together decided to get a DNA test done, and that's why she has the hair brush. Right before she was killed, she got a call, probably about the DNA results confirming that they are twins. And then she set up this fake suicide so that the groom would think she died and move on. Guess she thought that would be better for him than for him to find out that they are twins.

Good one, but what about the skin and blood under the fake nail?  There are too many questions without answer if this is a suicide/fake suicide case. If this is a fake suicide, the fact that the nails were in the scene doesn't make sense, the bride wouldn't have left proves.
What about the groom killing her because of the DNA results? Too easy, since he is practically the only suspect, we just need to know wich was the trick... this is a strange case, isn't it?

My deduction is as follow:

the woman in the car is someone other than the bride.
Most likely it's the one who she talked often in the phone, the one who confirmed that those two are twins.
She asked the woman to come there and there she killed her and made it look like her twin killed herself.
that's why Conan was interested of her height, he suspects that the body is not the one everyone thinks.
and the shoe of banba? Conan noticed it was clean-> hasn't gone outside and therefore can't be the culprit.

so the culprit is the woman everyone thinks is dead victim.
and the true victim is revealed at the next file.
oh...the sad truth? well d'oh? the soon to be married couple are actually twins...

Interesting theory.
But if the body in the car is that person Kamon often called, then she only had around 6 minutes to call her, wait for her to arrive, kill her and make perparations for that fake.
Because the email, which said that Kamon will come back in 30 min was received at 8:18, so she would likely have arrived at 8:48. The sayonara call was made at 8:54.
I find it doubtful that 6 minutes are enough time.
Though your theory seems to fit on everything.

And that they two were twins is almost clear. I guess that the DNA on the fingernails are from Kamon, would explain approximate match.

So at this point, I'm guessing (rather, hoping) it's an elaborate suicide, but can't be sure just yet; and it's still likely that it'll end up a murder. Guess we'll find out later.

If this is a suicide, it's original for Gosho. The majority of the cases are all murders, so... And the "only suspect" here is the groom

there is one thing odd about new detective guy, he escaped the unexcpected punch from the suspect and his movement looked like he had quite a lot of tranning for that stuff. And all of sudden him saying he dose not like violence kinda seemed fishy to me.

I agree. It was too odd, but I don't think he's Bourbon or B.O. related... He doesnt fill the profile that we have of Bourbon. (I'm still suspecting of Sera = Bourbon)
Could he be Skar Akai? Ag, I'm a little lost about this new character appearing out of the blue :S

that's problem if you think he is scar akai and not burbon... then who the heck is scar akai if he wasn't burborn???

Crack theory of the case:  the detective hired by the groom is actually the bride in disguise.

As for the scar Akai/Bourbon issue, PT and I had a crack theory on that as well.  Something to the tune of Scar Akai really is Akai (who is Amuro) and Okiya is just a pointless cameo character, as Sera is really Bourbon.

I'm still not convinced.
Who do you think is that person she often calls? I think it's some scientist Kamon charged to find out whether she and Banba are relatives or not.
When she just arrived at the lot she got a call. I assume that's from that scientist who then told her that the DNA matches. Explains the shocking face expression and the following suicide.

What do you mean with that? They just found 2 fake nails, didn't they?
Both with something on the tips. I guess Kamon injured herself with those nails and least dropped one of them on purpose so that the police and the groom could identify her faster.

My theory: When the bride arrived at the restaurant she received a call from a person she charged to find out via DNA whether she and Banba are relatives. That person told her that the test result indicates that they're indeed related. So she decides to kill herself.
What Conan notices was that the soles of the shoes of the groom are clean, means he didn't left restaurant.
As for the height, somebody mentioned a scientific explanation with dizygotic and monozygotic some posts ago and I like this explanation.

I'm not completely convinced of this one either but lets try.
