The case is starting to heat up now! It seems like a normal case to me, but I'll take everyone's word for it that it isn't. Hopefully the conclusion will progress the overall storyline and prepare us for 800!

Spoiler:
I am guessing they are at the very least close blood relatives. Also, the Ran/Conan conversation about DNA test was LOLZOR. Judging by the Bourbon guy's age and how he wasn't really nosy or paying much attention to conan, him ordering Bourbon probably is a teaser and he don't have much to do with BO. Now that 2 other Detectives are involved, the title "Private Eye" make sense and the title "Genome" have to mean that those two are brother and sisters(I don't remember their age but they might even be twins).

Completely agreeing.

From 793:
"Our birth date, blood type, and circumstances were all the same..."
"And even if we were to keep silent on occasion, we'd still know what the other is thinking."

And then the "DNA from the skin that was caught on her fake name show a rough match."

And now, finding out that they were both rescued from the same fire...

Definitely twins. And that probably has something to do with her murder/suicide. And considering the fact that she got a call that upset her or something (according to Amuro), I'm assuming she had someone looking into that information and found out that they're twins.
So at this point, I'm guessing (rather, hoping) it's an elaborate suicide, but can't be sure just yet; and it's still likely that it'll end up a murder. Guess we'll find out later.

Hmm...*wonders why Conan asked about the height*

Spoiler:
I also think the unwelcome sad truth will be a tragedy of  fate. I'm just wondering how did the wind and the inflammables work together and contribute to Kamon's death, and why Conan cared about Kamon's height.  In my opinion, the case was an accident rather than a suicide. And just before the blast, Kamon was busy doing sth with her umbrella since she was not tall enough.
Stopwatch wrote: Hmm...*wonders why Conan asked about the height*
Someone gave a possible explanation on Conan's caring about Kamon's height.
Spoiler:
Generally speaking,  twins of different genders are dizygotic except for some extremely rare cases where monozygotic twins, due to the aneuploidy caused by nondisjunction, may develop into different sex, and the female usually has a monosomy X. The absence of X chromosome will cause Turner syndrome whose common symptoms include short stature. So Conan asked about Kamon's height. Besides, if Kamon and Banba are monozygotic twins, there is no wonder that they share same genetic information while DNA from dizygotic twins can't be exactly matched.
Although I don't believe Gosho will introduce such a complicated term as Turner Syndrome into his work, I think, to a certain degree, the theory mentioned above makes sense.

The DNA conversation refers not only to Conan=Shinichi, it also refers to Akai's assumed death and his current identity
Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

I thought Bourbon was supposed to be as smart as Sherlock, however he couldn't solve such a simple case...well, if he is indeed Bourbon

Spoiler:
there is one thing odd about new detective guy, he escaped the unexcpected punch from the suspect and his movement looked like he had quite a lot of tranning for that stuff. And all of sudden him saying he dose not like violence kinda seemed fishy to me.

If this is a suicide, it's original for Gosho. The majority of the cases are all murders, so... And the "only suspect" here is the groom
Spoiler:
Twin brother xD
.
But, we all know that the story would twist in a murder anyway, Gosho can find a way to do that :P

I agree. It was too odd, but I don't think he's Bourbon or B.O. related... He doesnt fill the profile that we have of Bourbon. (I'm still suspecting of Sera = Bourbon)
Could he be Skar Akai? Ag, I'm a little lost about this new character appearing out of the blue :S
I wish all of you can understand the point, It's a little difficult for me to talk about this stuff in english. :)

You are not alone.
Spoiler:
I think after the bride found out they were in the same fire together decided to get a DNA test done, and that's why she has the hair brush. Right before she was killed, she got a call, probably about the DNA results confirming that they are twins. And then she set up this fake suicide so that the groom would think she died and move on. Guess she thought that would be better for him than for him to find out that they are twins.

Good one, but what about the skin and blood under the fake nail?  There are too many questions without answer if this is a suicide/fake suicide case. If this is a fake suicide, the fact that the nails were in the scene doesn't make sense, the bride wouldn't have left proves.
What about the groom killing her because of the DNA results? Too easy, since he is practically the only suspect, we just need to know wich was the trick... this is a strange case, isn't it?
