On a serious note: I agree, he would probably kill himself than being killed by someone. even though I really want him to be arrested.. but who knows? Maybe in the end, Shinichi won't let him to commit suicide.

Gin takes APTX pill only to find out it was a newer pill that does make one immortal. Every time Gin tried to suicide, he fails

Gin gets cornered by the FBI, takes APTX to commit suicide and destroy the last of his pills, but he shrinks into a child and is then is adopted by Jodie and Akai because the FBI can no longer prosecute him, but they still want to make his life a living hell as a substitute for prison... Saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the USA thrice daily, mandatory panda pajamas, and being forced to join preschool as a girl would only be the beginning...

...but seriously, I think Gin is going to die in the final clash, and chances are he will do so trying to take somebody down with him. (Shiho or Shinichi are likely). Fire, explosions, or collapsing structures are likely to be involved. I think the literary need to cement him as the strongest opponent second to the boss will mean no one person's bullets or actions will be able to take him down completely, which is probably a good thing because a lot of characters owe him some payback. His Porsche may join him in death, because everyone loves expensive car destruction. Bonus points if the Porsche is used to crash a helicopter.

Sure it would be great but it is soooo impossible his heart is dead as much as it is black ... or so i think he'd probably _if he died _ say something stupid like it is not the end or something ..... remember when conan shot him with a needle .... he is never scared or surprised

I'm not exactly sure when and how it will happen, but I do believe Gin's final defeat should and will come at the hands of Shiho.

Gin took away her sister. He drove her into hiding, threatened the lives of her friends, and has pretty much made her exsistance a living hell. All this time she's had to hide, believing her only choice was to keep running from him. Shiho's character arc began with Gin, and it will end with him. It will end when she chooses to stop running. When she finally turns and faces the monster who has destroyed her life, her family, and driven her into exile, her growth as a character will be complete. I know that the whole BO is hunting her, but Gin is their face. The one she fears and hates most. The one who has caused her the most grief. Shiho will be the one to end Gin.
