Maybe Conan Knows Boss' identity

After the death of Organization agent Kusuda Rikumichi, Akai Shuuichi and Conan went to talk to Mizunashi Rena after getting Hondou Eisuke to "wake her up" Conan and Akai could have asked Kir who on hearth is 'Ano Kata'.
The point is:Does Kir know the boss?
After Black Impact we see Kir texting the Boss so she may know him.

Wasn't she talking with Gin? But I also wondered why it was the Boss' number

Actually if Kir "knows the boss" then the CIA "knows the boss."

And if you go by her knowing the Boss' number, the CIA already "knew the boss" a long time ago - Kir and Eisuke's father was texting the boss before Kir joined the BO.

Yeah. But I think Conan DOES know his/her identity but doesn't know that he/she IS the Boss...
and I think the boss is related to the main characters somehow...and if he has been mentioned but not shown...maybe Eri's dad? xDDDDD oh sorry couldn't resist...

I think Gin might know who the boss is, considering his executive rank and the fact that he and Vermouth almost have the same privileges.

I bet that Kir doesn't know who the "ano kata " is.  Because having the number phone doesn't mean that they know the boss.

At this point, the only contact we've had with the boss is little snippets of info, as well as official interviews (there's a topic full of them on DCW, but I'm too lazy to link it right now.). BO agents have only ever shown receiving instructions through texts or off-screen, so we don't even know if any of the agents actually have actually ever seen the boss's face. (I expect any phone conversations would have his/her voice altered by a machine.) Therefore, the only people who know the boss's true identity would be executive members, like Gin, Vermouth, and Pisco.

I also agree we've seen the boss in the manga before, either mentioned in passing or actually seen in person. My top suspects right now are Eri's dad and Yumi's ex, who we just met. With more info in the future, this might change.

Spoiler: Unreleased manga

Since Yumi's ex is a shogi player (I think that's what he is if I'm understanding the Chinese correctly), then the looking for seven is likely a shogi reference. Of course, the seven could also be the seven living codenamed members of the BO, although it's unlikely.
