The fact that her character's identity is so predictable is already boring. Her being the half sister of Akai would honestly spice it up.
that would be moderately more interesting I think? In the same way putting ketchup on fries is more interesting than fries without ketchup. So this plot twist would be on the same level of interest as french fries with ketchup. Which is not interesting for the arc conclusion, believe it or not.
I'm still betting money on her being Scar Akai.

It would be nice if he introduced new mystery characters at a slower rate than he cleared them up.
So... reveal who they are before they appear?
Or, y'know, stop introducing them and start actually tying the plot together. It'll probably only take him about three hundred chapters, the rate he works.
It just occurred to me that if Sera is related to Akai, then its possible that it was Bourbon who leaked the information to Sera that Conan would know what happened to Akai -- otherwise I can't think of how Sera could find out the link between Akai and Conan. If that's so Bourbon's aim is simply to use Sera to flush out Akai; identical to the scheme where the B.O. used Eisuke to flush out his sister.

seriously Gosho would single handedly save this arc by essentially pulling a 180 on what seems like Eisuke 2.0 (but much better).
^ Which he won't be able to, don't keep your hopes up LOL XD *Bricked*

Now that you mention it... You've convinced me more. I never thought of the possibility of sera being scar akai. But you make it sound realistic.
