Has Conan ever said "This is the last movie"?  No, which is why they're making fun of Gomera.  The previous was said to be the last, and now there are more.  It has nothing to do with being a  "cash cow", but rather going against what they said.

They didn't explicitely say it, but that's how I interpretated their faces, especially since going against what they said is most likely done to make money.

Of course it's to make money, but that's not the point.  It's being made fun of because it was specifically stated that the previous one would be the last.  They just saw a new one, and another is already scheduled to be released the next year.  How is that at all similar to just a continuing franchise?  The entire joke is about going against what they had said, not "lol they want money".

Kind of like how they said Halo 3 was the last one(or at least the last one with Master Chief) and then they released some other colored Spartans......and are now making another game with Master Chief.=p  Good stuff making for of things like that.  Even better since Conan admits he kind of wants to see the film anyways.

I don't see any relation with Akai Oh, well, at least the case seems to be interesting...

Red is pronounced akai in Japanese, so Red Oil-based Shuu = Akai Oil-based Shuu
On another relative note, we all know there are oil-based paint and water-based paint, and water-based is pronounced suisei in Japanese.
Had it been Red Water-based Shuu, it would've been Akai Suisei no Shuu, a blatant wordplay on Akai Suisei no Shaa or Red Comet Char in Gundam.


While some assume the housewife was responsible, I'd like to think outside the box and say the man on the ground did it. He was not dead at all, but he simply played dead and actually BACKED his car to collide with the white one.
