I actually prefer ConanXAi over ShinichiXRan or ShinichiXShiho. And that's just because the two of them are stuck as kids and know each other just as well as Shinichi and Ran do, if not more. So if they realize they love each other then Ai doesn't have to bust her butt working on the antidote and can have some freedom in her life.
However, and I just want to get this out, I do NOT hate any pairing. I DO NOT. So just because I picked one doesn't mean I hate or even moderately dislike the others. I think that all pairings have a chance of working out if the circumstances were tweaked a little. I've even put some of those situations into some of my fanfictions, where I have two CoAi stories and one CoAyu story. No ShinRan because there's already plenty of them, and we know that they'll end up together in the manga because Ran is Gosho's favorite character.
However, and I just want to get this out, I do NOT hate any pairing. I DO NOT. So just because I picked one doesn't mean I hate or even moderately dislike the others.
