My guess would be the other lady resident (Bannai Kumi). Majority of the posters before me mentioned the band aid reason and that's what also stood out to me. Another reason is that, she's the only I can see the dead man talking to in a "gentle way" (before he was murdered) since she's a woman. You know, like, the Gensuke-san couldn't have hit her right away even though he and might have had an argument. Bannai could've used that crucial moment/trust/respect for ladies,etc. to do something to Gensuke.

Uhm. Sorry if that didn't make sense. It wasn't exactly how I worded in my head.

*Sigh*. Another normal case. I DID enjoy this one, but I leave with a feeling of disappointment...after all Sera cases which were pointing towards a more plot-related case....oh well, it seems I got too excited. I at least wanted an Ran suspicious arc, but still no good huh.

I am kind of disappointed, I have expected more signs of suspicion from Ran or Sato or Takagi. Well may be this case well be referred to in the future when the suspicions grow

Just another case without plot relation... Come on, the last exiting arc was the Holmes revelation... 6 months ago?  I enjoy the normal cases, but I really need some BO action    Or at least one Ran's suspiction arc...
