Really? I thought the anime's art was better.Kaito Lady wrote:that explains why the manga is better drawn as the anime...bluekaitou1412 wrote: Yeah, anime first. The manga/s are all spin-offs/alternate stories
What manga are you talking about anyway? The Suzaku, Nunally, or that other one?

what i mean is that the manga looks better drawn to me(has never seen the anime)
the pics that ive seen of the anime they look...well thin...extremelly thin
and in the manga they just look normal
and there are also some differences between the two...
example: when lelouch has that chess game with mao he used the geass on himself to rescue nunally in the anime,
well, in the manga nunally wasnt kidnapped but C.C. was, and lelouch lost the match

To be honest, the mecha aspect was really a turn off for me too. But still, I managed to finish both R1 and R2 without dropping and the ending of R2 made up for the occasional naps while watching the series (probably the "mecha" effect).ranger wrote: is Code Geass recommendable for someone who doesn't really like mechas too much, i mean I don't really care for it. But I hear this series is really good, and somewhat similar to Death Note in style?
Code Geass also has good opening and ending songs.

Same here. To be honest, every time they fight with mecha, I always get confused as to who is whom and I have no idea as to if the enemy is winning or not.CoolKid3 wrote:To be honest, the mecha aspect was really a turn off for me too. Yeah, I just tried watching the first episode...didn't really like it. Then again, first episodes usually suck. *Shrugs

I'd guess she's probably talking about this one, though I can't be sure since I have yet to try the series.bluekaitou1412 wrote: Well there are a lot of Code Geass mangas fyi![]()

I recomment Kamisama no Memochou.
It's airing this season and it's funny.

Geass is more of an anime with mechs than it is an actual mecha anime. If you don't like the first episode, you could try a few more episodes but if you haven't started liking it at that point it's probably just not your thing.ranger wrote: is Code Geass recommendable for someone who doesn't really like mechas too much, i mean I don't really care for it.
