Thankfully, they were alright to reschedule to 2.30, so by shooting out of the house in a little whirlwind of panic I just made it on time. I really cannot believe that I did that...

I thought you'd mentioned something when you came back from India about not being able to get the allowance anymore because you hadn't claimed it for a few months or somethin?

No, I got it for a couple of weeks when I came back from India. Then I signed off when we went to Italy, but when I came back I couldn't sign on yet because it hadn't been one full calender month since my last claim ended. It has been now, I'm signed back on... and being an utter moron.

Though it might be that this is only true for me - I'm sure there aren't that many people who you can keep occupied for three hours with a pencil, an eraser and two sheets of paper (if the paper is chequered, the amount of paper required is multiplied by 0.75)  :P

pretty much all of those ideas you mentioned are not things I would do on the internet even if I was at home.

In this case, let me reword your claim:

Some people don't realize how little there is to do on the internet for them until they're forced to spend time on it.

And then they keep thinking "Wow, this is just like I'm at home, except without 80% of the things to do"

One side would have the potential to keep me occupied for around three hours. So.... One side or one half of one piece of paper (.5) with two pieces of paper having a total of four sides times three hours per side.

So four sides times three hours equals twelve hours.

So I got a letter today confirming my jobseeker's allowance claim, which I'd tried to backdate to the beginning of the month, having been told that I couldn't claim until one calender month had passed since my last claim. They told me that I couldn't backdate it because I had given "no good reason" for having not claimed at the beginning of the month, and when I called up to contest the letter, I was told that you can in fact make a new claim the day after your previous claim ended, and that I shouldn't have been told that I couldn't claim yet. So, I was misinformed. It's not my fault that I didn't claim before. SO WHERE'S MY MONEY, YOU JACKASSES?!

My wrist is really hurting me today. I took some over the counter pain reliever but that only lessened the pain, it didn't relieve all of it.  If I were to put a brace on it that would help a great deal but I can't find my wrist brace anywhere!

It was BLOODY FREEZING today! I could see my breath in the air! It doesn't normally get that cold until mid-October! WTF, weather?
