Summary:
Kogorou's been coming home late recently. When they meet an old lady, Conan and Ran think they've found the reason. However what they find is a Kogorou impostor. Realizing that the impostor has no ill intentions, Conan helps the impostor out as he tries to solve a mystery the old lady's been having with her TV flipping through channels on its own. Mystery solved, a body is suddenly found in the apartment building next door, which the old lady happens to be the landlady of. There are three suspects.
Burning questions:
What's the significance of the landlady and the Kogorou imposter? Are they related to the murder, or part of another plot?
Did Sera seriously have only one line this file?

I getting interested to see what will Megure and Takagi react after they see the fake Kogoro next file.
And I am waiting to see how Conan solved the case, using a fake sleeping Kogoro who have no real deduction skill at all or pretending to call Shinichi to solve a case.
Hope Sera who stealthily follow Conan and Ran coming to help them so Conan can use Sera to solve, maybe by putting her to sleep. Will the real Kogoro suddenly show up, no chance I think.

Spoiler:
No. Leave the annoying Sera locked up in the closet.
"I wonder if there really is a God...
If such an entity really existed, wouldn't all honest, hard-working people be happy?"
I find the character uninteresting (everyone knows she's Akai's sister) and even annoying (always talking about her mom's breast). Besides, I feel she's just a girl version of Eisuke and a character introduced as a stop-gap more than anything else. You can add the fact that we have seen her in 4 cases in a row and you have the reasons which explain why I dislike the character.

It's okay for you to dislike Sera, but why when I written about Sera on the thread, you always quoted and strongly opposed my own decision. Not from anybody's written about Sera.

Nothing personal, if that's what you mean. I was just reacting to the fact that you wanted to see Sera appear by responding that I don't.

How do Conan solve this murder case without any cover for him, it is more dangerous than File 771-774.
If the real Kogoro, Sonoko or Sera doesn't show up in a crime scene, Conan had nobody to cover for his great deduction after a case, as Conan unable to use real Kogoro told him his deduction as a excuse since Ran knowing her father is busy drinking. If Conan pretending to call Shinichi told him about his deduction, Ran even want to talk to Shinichi even more after Kazuha's encouragement back to File 784.
So it may lead to Conan's true identify suspicion again before rumored File 800 BO case, but Ran already getting use of Conan's great deduction by himself as she asked Conan that he might know something already in Page 10 first pic.

I almost feel like Kogoro's going to show up in the end, just because. And this'll definitely lead to a suspicion arc...
Hm, maybe Conan'll knock out the fake Kogoro by mistake. You know, he's so use to it that *ping*, oops, that's not actually Kogoro. Then he proceeds to use the bowtie since he's already started the deduction phase. The real Kogoro comes in, observes a "Sleeping Kogoro" show for a little while, and then solves the case (because...Ran texted him? And...he heard a bit of the correct deduction so he made the rest of the conclusion? I dunno)
Of course, true to Gosho style there'd be a joke that the impostor was the real Kogoro because he used "Sleeping Kogoro". ...Which would then awesomely hint to Kogoro suspicion where he says "Maybe he is the real one" and takes a glance at Conan who's looking away \o/
Ran would be suspicious because the fake used "Sleeping Kogoro" when he shouldn't of and Kogoro will be suspicious because of the same reason and because those "coming home late" nights were really to investigate "Edogawa Conan".
Then, for the BO case likely to come, Conan will not only have to deal with Ran's suspicions but Sera's and Kogoro's too. Though, but this point we know that Sera and Kogoro are is already sure of their deductions.
Aha, all of the above is a result of my former title before 'Everyone's Child'...the Crazy Theorist! ...or something like that

@the poll: I would love for it to be a suicide case. Unfortunately, it never is.
never say never.. there have been suicide cases before, but in this case it is murder.
The clue that it's murder...
Spoiler:
The blade is backwards in the victims hand! The sharp part of the blade should be facing towards yourself if you wanted to slit your own throat.
The real question obviously is...
Spoiler:
How did the murderer create the locked room with the key next to the victim?
Points of interest:
Spoiler:
Why did they break down the door when they could have had the landlady to open it? (She lives right next door)
Why did the same TV channel zapping occur in the landlady's apartment as well as the victims? Conan never really solved this "unimportant case" correctly.
The landlady lives directly across from the apartment building and the room where the murder occurred. The landlady's room with the television has a window facing the window of the victim's room. Infrared light from remote controls can be reflected by surfaces, like windows so if someone was outside in between the two apartments with a remote control and 'pranking' the victim by changing their television channels it might also cause the landlady's television set to change since the window would reflect the infrared light back into her window.
The hint of the books holding down the remote button is a clue that perhaps the criminal used a similar trick to rig the remote control to have the TV zapping through the channels without the criminal needing to hold the remote in person -- that way all 3 could arrive at the victim's door last night and the TV would still be zapping.
The position of the body, in the middle of the doorway is extremely odd.
Need more panels of the room and more details from last night. =)
