I'm happy! I've studied math quite a lot and made most of the exercise the teacher sent us. I'm really happy because I acted responsible and well, today I also had a nice day after school with my friends. I feel pretty happy because these days have been really nice. I've worked, I've laughed, it's been awesome.

After our exposition (that ended up pretty well) we went to change our clothes (we had to use something different) and had a great time all the girls of my group (my friends) after, we stayed outside and started to sing crazy songs  :D  I was the most enthusiastic, hehe~ I was just happy because I was done with that.

The whole day was a nice thing, a very nice one. Though I say too many times that I wanted to punch Kibou because he came late at school and we needed him to finish the details for the exposition. But I didn't punch him  ;D

Had practise for two days now and it's been a lot of fun :D I'm having a day off today and my sister is working which equals time to spend however I want. If the weather gets better I'll go on a walk later.

Practise was fun and my instructor said I was doing well (quote: "this went very well, like you were born driving trains") so that's naturally good. Bur I still have a lot I need to work on. I don't know all the rules and signs by heart yet and my braking skills are still quite suckish. So naturally I really need to work on them.

Oh, and I'll get to drive ore soon ;D It's a new kind of (what's it called? the dictionary says engine but that doesn't make sense ???, anyhow the thing that pulls the wagons) called IORE that I've never driven before so that will be fun. The ore trains are much heavier than the trains I've driven so far (3200 ton which is the heaviest, 1200 on or under is more normal iirc (for cargo trains that is :P)) since they can weigh up to 8000 ton. But they should also be pretty hard to drive so it might take a while before I get to actually drive it :( The things that make them so hard to drive is the weight, trains accelerate a lot when going downhill, especially if it is heavy and naturally it loses speed going uphill if it is heavy :V And then there is the thing that it uses a somewhat different type of brake. The brakes work the same way but they are much, much slower. Normally it takes 5-10 seconds between the driver starts braking until the brakes are braking the entire train and about 15-30 seconds before they stop braking the entire train. But the ore trains are much slower, it takes about a minute before the entire train brakes and even longer before it lets go. So you really need to know what you are doing when driving it. If you brake too little you'll end up going way to fast, too much and you might end up standing there. It might sound stupid with such slow brakes but that is to prevent the couplers(?) from breaking.

@nom: As weird as it may be, in English the part of the train that pulls the wagons is called the engine. :P Because the main purpose of the front car is to house the engine, the whole thing is just called the engine. And the car-to-car connectors are called the couplers, yeah.

So if I say engine people will get what I mean? Seems to me like there's too big a place for miscommunication there. But I shouldn't be surprised since English uses you for both singular and plural you :|

well to be fair some people say "you all" for plural (or yall if you feel like it :P), but yeah, people will get what you mean if you're talking about a train and mention the train engine. Alternately, you could call it a "locomotive", but people are more likely to say train engine. If you say "so yeah I was sittin in the train engine the other day..." people aren't gonna ask "wait, how did you survive being inside an engine?!" :P
