I have a picture with my sister when I was about 3-4 watching Sandy Bell, I watched it a few times after that when I was getting older since it was not exactly for little children and Maya the bee, also another bee but it was a boy also looking for his mum , if I remember correctly I hated it because she died at the end when they met.

Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

It was either Tenchi Muyo or Sailor Moon, back when they were both on Toonami airing Season 1 and the OVAs. >D And I didn't know I was watching anime at the time either. XD

It was probably Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z for me... possibly Doraemon too, and Yu-Gi-Oh (the original series).
Yu-Gi-Oh was probably the better adaptation though, I actually enjoyed the anime more than the manga.
