Tho I think there are a lot of characters that are victims to the force of plot D: Not just villain characters and also in other stories.
Like the common: Villain traps hero and could simply kill him -> but nooo~ plot force is triggering and the villain has to explain his evil story, that his cat died and thus he started to hate the world -> till the hero get's rescued or rescues himself because the villain talks too much etc.
At least Gin is kinda a true villain. He's not evil because his cat died (at least I hope Gosho won't make such a stupid story for Gin D:)
