To use model cars, though...that still seems like it'd take a lot of time since the culprit would have to lift up each corner of the bed to put the car under there.  I guess we have to take the clue Kogoro sub-consciously gave at the end of chapter 710 to figure it out.  I'm actually stumped, though.  I usually have some type of a theory but my mind is blank this time.

IMO, her husband is too obvious, which is why I don't think it was him...same with the creepy stalker guy, which would leave the stalker guy's mother...but that still leaves the "how" in this case.

I bet it's going to be something so simple that I'll be smacking my forehead for it once the trick is revealed. lol

There's no doubt they are two different cans.

They are both drawn from enough viewpoints to give a full view of the entire label.

So there.  ;D

Nice catch but....what are we supposed to do with it? Maybe the culprit drank the cider and thought it was wierd that it disappeared and put a cola instead? ;D

Presumably the first can was rigged somehow... that little moment was too small and random not to be significant XDXD

I suspect the mum on the basis that she seems to have one of the most solid alibis, which is usually the case XD

Spoiler:
And the husband was the killer, WITH HIS MINI CARS! I actually thought  about the trick on my own. It was a bit stupid, but it's like Gosho to make crazy tricks. Anywho, from the last page it seems like the two didn't get back together. CURSE YOU GOSHO!
I hope the next file won't be a random DB or Kogoro case...

The guy obviously doesn't know anything about the cars, or doesn't know anything about James Dean's car. The car he's holding looks like a 911, not the 550 speedster that James Dean died in or the 356 that wikipedia mentions him having before he got the 550. I seriously doubt Gosho would get the wrong car since he went out of the way to bring up James Dean.

I think so too...u know that conan doesnt do things for nothing, so u know when h asked him that, there is purpose.....so im tinking that the husband did it and tha broken piece of the car (mirror, was it?) was one of the remains from when he used it to move the bed..... although i dont know how..

what do ya know? I succeeded to deduct the case all by myself (I didn't post it cause I'm too lazy and the theories were already posted by someone else so there was no need to repeat them). even the soda part! and I thought I can only solve AOs  ;D

Aw man.
Spoiler:
I couldn't believe that those minicars could actually bear the weight of the bed. -.- Boy was I wrong. Oh well. It seems like I was too naive. But hey, the culprit was a guy with no alibi, that's kind of a surprise. ^^
