I love the Harry Potter books (been reading them since the first came out heh) but I'm a lowly slug in the fan scale compared to a friend of mine who obsseses over any Harry Potter stuff I'm mailing her right now but I doubt I'll surprise her. okay this final week to enter early is ridiculous. in order to even do the magic quill quest i have to wake up in the middle of the night. i understand they do it by london time but it's not exactly fair to non-europeans since we can't do it until midnight or later and it's only open for 2 hours or less. the 3rd opening was only open for 57 minutes which isn't a lot of time. they should've just kept it open all day long instead of closing once the qouta was met.

My sis didn't complain about that, and she lives in Chile (same as me) she changed EVERYTHING, so she could know the exact hour and did it. Now she's waiting for her email. I hope she can receive it soon, she's a very crazy fanatic of Harry Potter. Me? I just read the books when she wasn't at home because she says "I will copy her tastes" she can't blame me if her taste is good, right?

Anyways, I have a question. In Oct is gonna be open for everyone, right? so, what's the big deal with sign up now?

I was pretty lucky with the time thing because it was in the evening for me (I actually got in on that 3rd opening Pina Colada mentioned ).

@KaitoGirl: It's not THAT big a deal, but because it's in its beta stage, you could try it out and suggest any changes to it before it gets released to everyone. For example, right now it's pretty silent with no background music and several people are saying they would prefer having some because it would enhance the experience some.

Is this eventually going to be available publicly, like a wiki? Because while I love the Harry Potter series and all, I honestly can't be bothered chasing the quill or whatever around.

on the day I got in - day 2 - I was waking up every hour in the night to check if the clue is out and it came out at 11 am -.- it wasn't much of a night but it was interesting ..

I'm not really happy with ravenclaw (dunno why, I AM a bit ravenclaw-ish) and I'm thinking about making a new account in october - that's why I'm not very active on pottermore right now x)

I think there will also be an encyclopedia .. as a book .. I hope, I'm more of a book than internet person
