Uzungol is beautiful isn't it? the fog, the valleys, and lake itself is a work of nature... Beautiful beyond all reason, the scenery can really take you away huh ^_^ShinRan36 wrote:yeah they also are nice but uzungol is a village not like the other =)). Re: Your Country's Sights
Well, I love to not brag about my country because I've grown tired of it and I can't wait until I'll have enough money to study in the US (and besides, with the current government, we are going down...way down...)
We don't have any pretty sights. We have forests that suck, we have mountains that suck and we have big cities that suck. So according to my believes everything sucks here
(I wish I knew german cause I actually have an apartment there and after my grandmother will die, I will have two...and germany is so much better AND much more pretty than Israel.)
BUT we do have tourists attractions, especially in the past few weeks, every saturday. The ultra-orthodox Jews are trying to close down a parking lot because it's too close to the ancient city (ancient Jerusalem) so they are making mess everywhere. They throw stones and diapers at the cops and block every car that tries to pass. They break traffic lights and do whatever they want. The tourists just stand aside and photo the animals crazy people.
Here are some pictures (sorry that I didn't upload it directly to the forum. I don't really know how...)
yeah...luckily I don't even live in that city. Notice that all of them wear black, so i like to call them "The Black Organization of Israel"
They don't work and they don't pay taxes. They get money from our taxes AND they make damage that costs milions later to repair.

Re: Your Country's Sights
Germany as well, but since Berlin has already been done I'll concentrate on other sights all over the country. I'll also add some less famous sights I really like (even if they are not that much impressive^^).

The Asamkirche (Asam Church) in Munich. Not very famous and also quite small, but I still like it.

The castle Hohenneuffen. Also not famous, but you have a great view (which accounts to almost all castles in the Swabian Alb). And I like it as well, yes.

The Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral). This church is of course very famous. And it's located in Cologne, if you wonder...

Back to the Swabian Alb's castles. The castle of Hohenzollern. It's still in a great state and famous because the royal family of the Hohenzollern became kings of Prussia, which is more than 1000 km away, and later even German Emperors.

And to complete our collection of castles, the most famous German castle: Castle Neuschwanstein.

The Wuppertaler Schwebebahn. Especially interesting for public transport maniacs.

The Oktoberfest of Munich. *sigh* I just name it because it's more famous than everything else I mentioned above and, living in Munich, anyone else here will kill me for not mentioning it. I still advise you against visiting it. It may be the world's largest fair, but it is also very dangerous (especially for women) because of the great number of drunks. If you want to visit a fair you should better go to a smaller one. The difference is only the number of different amusement rides.

Scotland, baby! An absolutely stunning country when it's not raining- but hey, without the rain it wouldn't be so green and beautiful.
