Also, I'm pretty sure Sera knows as well as Kogoro that Shinichi came out on top, she was just testing Conan's reaction (because, I mean, just being a bystander you wouldn't normally react like Conan did). So it's just her getting more Shinichi = Conan info IMO

The question is, what's she going to do with that info?

I was under the impression they had, and lookin at the DCW wiki it seems to mention it in passing also:

Later on in the series it shows that Akai and Jodie used to go out but he broke up with her because he was going out with Akemi and didn't want to feel guilty about two-timing them. Jodie still loves Akai despite the break up.

This may sound cheesy, but bear with me.  I would say that Shinichi won, not because he delivered the final deduction, but because he was able to set pride aside and cooperate WITH Heiji to reach the conclusion.  He's come to learn that insight from others can be very valuable (especially when the shonen tantei-dan spout childish remarks that turn out to be gigantic hints).  I am liking this development of Shinichi's character!  He's come so far, after getting knocked down a couple pegs of course.  *sniff*  I love that tantei-bozu...
