Today's Bad Stories !

I was finally back after stay on the chorus after class and everything was calm for a couple of minutes and then my dad started to argue with my brother 'cuz he left a bag with a costume he needs for a play on school so my brother went mad, my dad went mad (and they're so similar that when someone tries to correct them IT'S A DISASTER!) So... I had to stay quiet during that time...

I really hate when my family fights...

I have to go to my old school which will take another 12-hour trip to get my transcript of records... *sigh* And I'm worrying about some people who didn't show up today, I hope they're alright D:

we still get cicadas up here, though I'm not sure if we have anything other than one of the 17-year broods.

This is the 14th year of our 14-year cicada cycle.

But they keep getting tangled in my hair and dying en masse on every sidewalk in town and peppering my windshield endlessly with bug guts and making me have to raise my voice to be heard above them. D:

I never really had a problem with cicadas being on me, generally they liked to just chill around the bases of tree trunks.

I've heard on the news about people buying these mosquito-net-hat-veil thingies at army/navy surplus stores or at outdoor supplies stores that are buying like hotcakes. I've actually have been hearing about parts of the country where the problem with the cicadas is a lot worse; I think in parts of Alabama and maybe in the western areas of Tennessee that it's supposedly like a Biblical plaque. It's really one of the only things I'm glad about my brother not living here anymore; he'd likely be catatonic if he was here because of the cicadas.
