Not sure about having the end this year, but Aoyama did say he has the end in mind 3 years ago ^_^

Thanks for the link.  Though, having "an idea for the last scene" is not quite the same as having written the ending.

But a  least he's thinking about it, and the last scene no less ^_^ *I'm just hoping it won't be like Doraemon ending...*

It's all going to turn out to be the most complex Kid heist of all time. It's going to turn out that Akako shrank Kaio into Conan, Shiho is actually Hakuba who has been pranked beyond belief, Kogoro is just Ginzo who gave up and went on a drinking spree, and in the end Toichi'll escape with the one good invention of Agasa's.

I'm starting College in a year. I think this MIGHT finish by the time i've paid off my student loans. Might.

I actually have my suspicions that Gosho might want this series to end up like that story which never received an appropriate end because the author died from old age(leaving the two lovers apart). It's been referenced in DC a few times so it might be a hint.

Since I skip like crazy, could anyone post the parts where Aoyama-san hints at this? I'm rereading the parts that I missed, promise 

And if that happened I would throw something. Preferably a knife.
