There was mention of it somewhere in the thread especially after people noticed that the coffee stain wasn't on the rug after Ayumi returned.

The case was alright, but the last page of the file's what really excited me. I suppose Sera could be alluding to 'deleting' the truth of Haibara's identity.

The only that is still bothering me, is that the plan of the criminals made no sense whatsoever and that that didn't bother Conan.
The Professor definitely wouldn't have noticed if the carpet had been swapped (they only noticed because of the missing stain). So why draw attention to the theft by staging a much more serious crime?
It's just idiotic.

To be fair, poor Ayumi had been wrapped into an old and dusty rug twice and been dumped at a trash place for who-knows how long, so in addition to the coffee stains it is understandable that she has to take yet another shower.

New theory: Gosho was gonna make Okiya=Bourbon all along, but then he saw how quickly fans caught onto that, so he was like "oh snap better make a character even more suspicious and likely to be bourbon" and made Sera to throw people off his scent before revealing Okiya as BO. Brilliant!

Had to fix that. This also explains why Sera's batteries are "due to pop out any day now". Shuichi is taking hormones. But yeah, Gosho is obviously aware of the theories that are out there (as evidenced by the latest interview) and might want to put in some kind of twist. So it's all Chekh's fault that the plot has been stalled for so long.

while intriguing, in that case sera would have an actual reason other than throwing us off of Okiya's scent (unless he dropped large clues that sera was actually akai). So as utterly sexy as that theory would be, you need more evidence for it!

But yes, we should all blame Chek for stalling the plot anyway.

It would be suspicious if a girl of 17 years were that tall.

And one more thing: When Shuichi first met Ai, he said "I can't show myself to her yet.".
That's because he knew from Akemi that Shiho's a lesbian and if he wanted to be with her, he'd have to change his sex first. That's also why Sera is looking for Ai and downloading videos of her.
