So it pretty much agrees to my point. He is a "I wish you were someone more useful" for the BO most of the game. He can't be even used as "Mhh, the BO seems kinda weak, I guess I will give them Tequilla so it is a bit more fair but they don't get too strong" by the GM since Tequila is able to accelerate the end of the game quite a lot once the town numbers shrinked enough.Akonyl wrote:Tequila's an odd animal, which is why he didn't manage to make it into my roundSchillok wrote: I guess since there were quite a lot of changes last round we still have a lot to explore and test out (not convinced about Tequilas usefulness, I guess the injuring APTX helps but otherwise I think he is weak compared to the other BOs). Tequila's pretty much always been a "I'm horrible but I let the BO win a phase earlier if I'm still alive" character. By the end of the game (when he's actually useful), the BO is basically guaranteed to have at least one injured townie somewhere, so he'll be able to use his ability, which is primarily there to grant him another frighten, so that he can reduce the town votes by two for one phase.
I guess giving him an useful ability for the early game that is helpful and fitting to him that he could use INSTEAD OF frightening (Which telegraphs Tequillas existence to the town too easily.) ) would be a good idea. But which?
Confuse and Face-Pinch are the only things that could kinda fit (confuse being a weaker discombobulate to compensate for his flexibility over Vodka; face-pinch since it doesn't do much except for making it harder for Nakamori to get trusted and check for disguises now that Gin can hardly investigate anymore) - but canon/appearance wise they seem like a wide stretch to him. On the other hand "tricking" also felt strange for Vodka in the beginning until it got renamed.
