The thread where you tell about your dreams

I dreamt last night that the cure to APTX-4869 was eating some cookies you could buy at the convenience store.

I dreamed that I was back in the field in front of my college dorm (though in the dream, it represented my whole college), and there was a giant signboard on top of it that had the date and year on it. As I'm looking at it the year on it flickers and changes to 2006, and I realize that I've gone back in time.

(It's worth noting by this point in the dream I'd gained samurai superpowers and had a katana that was about as thick as a letter opener, and had a few friends with superpowers also)

So, we go into the college and everything is this crazy mix of victorian/steampunk/normal modern stuff, because apparently the 5-year jump actually was a lot more. I tell the people I'm with that we should steal some stuff because this is a leap in time and it won't matter anyway once it reverts back, but before we do we get attacked by a bunch of crazy people (I presume students). They're possessed by some sort of aliens/demons and have fancy alien weapons, so we have to fend them off until we find their leader, Magneto, who's too powerful for us and forces us out and we have to flee into some nearby woods.

While we're regrouping there, I turn and see a ~8-foot sloth stuck hanging from a tree, so I help him out. The sloth seems like a pretty chill guy, so I ask him if he can help us defeat Magneto and he's like "nooo waaaay maaaaan, I'm just a slooooooth, and hee's liiiike, maaagneeeetooooo", so I thank him for being awesome anyway and we leave somewhere.

Stuff happens and we eventually fight magneto near a train, where his son (yeah I dunno either :V) actually ends up betraying + killing him (because magneto's daughter (yeah I dunno again :V) was on our side and magneto tried to kill her), but gives us the credit anyway. We leave the train and change into our swimsuits because we're going to the beach, and hop into a minivan. We decide that it's not rainy enough to go to the beach though, so some of us hop out and do a rain dance to get it to rain. It works, and we drive off and the dream ends.

There's a little more to it but that grasps the main points.

Spoiler: the most boring dream ever

In my dream, I was little, and my family and I were about to start back home after a weeklong visit to our grandparents.' Except when we were pulling out of the driveway, my brother told me he forgot my iPod. So we had to turn back around, and as we were looking for it I started arguing with my brother, and it turned out he hadn't forgotten it, he had left it on purpose because he hated it. O.o

And then, we saw a commercial for The Incredibles, and one of the rooms in the house was suddenly a barbershop, and so I got my hair cut, and then she cut my toenails too, and I was feeling faint so she took my blood pressure and told me not to listen to any of my doctors because they were always wrong, and to just keep drinking lemonade. My mom totally agreed, even though I didn't want to because the acid would give me ulcers. And then I went into the bathroom and my hands were bleeding for no reason. D:

but also I think you're a fool for refusing lemonade medication. That would be the tastiest cure ever.

Second Part of a Dream:

Last Time ~ After our dad was falsely arrested he told us 5 numbers that we need to know to stop someone (and there are 4 kids in the family). "1-2-1-0" We figure the "0" is the most important and I say it's the baby who died in childbirth but the rest of them toss that out and decide it's the youngest of the group. And also that he had to officially be the one to "pull the trigger" to redeem his last major failure.

And Now ~ We get ready to bomb the stadium or something that took our dad and when we go in but are apprehended and put into 4 rooms the boss and his 2 workers explain things too us and take us to holding chambers. After they leave we set up the bomb which is activated by the 4 of us all putting laser eyes we have onto the same object (which will blow it up), however on laser hits a marked item causing gel pyramid to come from the ground and grab our legs. We get taken into the blown up room and shown we only killed A.I. or something and then the Boss tells us we received the wrong message, that the numbers should be only "1-2-1", this disturbs the youngest as we're taken off. Then I woke up.

So, not sure where this was going.

@shira, more of a movie I'd say, though I have had much longer dreams that were more JRPG-y.

I had a dream of the Zombie Apocalypse. It was me, my friend T-Bone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Megan Fox, and a dog. We were fighting them off as best as we could but....

The Zombies always win in the end...

but gotcha, was wonderin if it was a typo vs one of those things dreams tell you that in the end make zero sense, but it's a dream so you think they do :V

It came form me having trouble to remember my dream [the typo], so you idea's possible too.
