Yesterday I would have posted that I left my cellphone at work, unfortunately a different bad story of mine prevented me from doing so. :V

Thanks to the lazy bastards at my school who didn't send the necessary paperwork in time, I lost out on my full ride scholarship to SDSU, I can't afford college, at all. So no college, no psychology degree, and no future career. Wonderful.

I'm not sure how this works in the US, but when my university refused me (also about some paperwork details), I had the possibility to accept it, to object or to take legal action. In my case, probably all options had worked (I know neither your exact situation nor the laws in the US), but the objection was rather easy - I just sent the paperwork in after the deadline and filed an objection, explaining why I could not have avoided the situation and why it was not my fault at all (I was even able to blame on the university for not allowing me to ask questions ). I'm not sure if it is possible to do something similar in the US, but in case it is, you should definitely try it - in my case they accepted without asking a single question or ever mentioning it again
