First thing that comes to mind is that both Akai and Okiya referred to the B.O. members as wolves. What do Ai and Sera have to do with that? Dunno. Ai was in the B.O., so you could make a theory based on that that Sera is also a B.O. member.
But I think Gosho simply meant that they have some.......wolf-like qualities........whatever that means.

If Gosho compared the two to cats, it would have been much cleaerer (though that would have raised a different line of questions) 

That is definitely an interesting point raised. About what Okiya had referred to B.O. members as, that is.

It could possible imply that Sera is a member of the Black Organization, if Ai is considered as a former member of the organization (Sherry). In other words, it could potentially be plot related (My apologies if Sera vs. Haibara has been explicitly stated as not being in any way related to the plot of DC. I can't say I remember everything from previous pages.)

And about Takagi and Sato,great ,they're the only(i guess) couple in DC which have first kiss.

Gosho said this confrontation will be separated from the Bourbon plot,so I don't think Sera is a BO member...
I guess Gosho means that Sera and Ai are sly and dangerous like wolves...
I still wonder how he will make this face off "spectacular"...I doubt they will have to fight XDDD

I hope this doesn't actually refer to the fate of the japanese wolves. They got extincted. By the way, they had two different kinds of wolves if I remember correctly.
Is there any meaning behind this phrase? Maybe a japanese pun or something like that?
When thinking about wolves, I always remember "The wolves of Mibu"... somehow his phrasing bothers me XD

I've just discovered this thread because I usually only read the manga thread disscusions so here I go

About the reference to wolves... it could simply mena they are both ferocious girl capable of stand up for themselves, perhaps loners because they've lost their siblings? I don't think it has to have a negative side (unless not for Haibara, it might have a more probable negative side for Sera if it emant she works for the BO... still such a glaring spoiler.. I doubt it, more probable a figure of speech).

I migth liek Haibara more than Ran (although i hold them both dear) but I'm realistic enough to know Shinichi will end up with Ran 99% sure and I don't understand startign a war about that... I didn't doubt the happy ending either... it strikes me as Gosho's way of doing things.

I'm really happy about Takagi and Sato!!! They are awesome

I don't know how seriously we can take Gosho's claim he wished to be retired by Agasa's age... and even if he means it, he could easily change his mind... but I wouldn't mind seeing it end in 4-6 years. The manag seems to be nearing its end in some aspects and it has to be so tiring to think new tricks every week. But he really seems to like being busy ont he other hand.  Gosho is really a very hard-working mangaka and with a nice personality. I really wish him the best.

About anokata... that half-crack theory of Yoko beign the boss could be slightly reinforced by this...


I wanted to clarify that by the days Gosho works in the name, name is the pre-manuscript. So he might not have so many time for thinking tricks but in those days he does think about the lay-out of the chapter and the tricks. It's already ebign explained int he original thread by justwhatanaccount but since Wakarimashita incorrectly assumend Gosho referred to the names of the character in one of the early pages and many people here might have read only that, I wanted to clarify it Too much Bakuman reading

I too don't think that the Haibara Sera face-off will involve physical fighting since, well, Sera has Jeet Kune Do as an advantage while Haibara at the same time has her small stature as a disadvantage. It's most likely to be something with wits. My question is: how will Conan play into it? I personally don't think he should be directly involved, but he is the main character. Is he going to be off solving a case at the time or will he be doing something else? Also, it's interesting that Haibara and Sera have a face-off. Does that mean that Conan's just going to brush Sera aside completely while Haibara is suspicious (kind of like Okiya, but not exactly) or is Conan going to be duped for once?

Whatever the case is, I know I can't wait. 

There's also Satou and Takagi's wedding to wait for too! Aaaaah I hope it'll be even greater than we're expecting~ And Phantom Lady + Magic Kaito is just another reason summer needs to get here sooner: not only to get me out of school but to melt the snow here for sure. We had summer-like conditions, but because it's May anything can happen...particularly enough snow within a few hours to prevent someone from properly getting into a truck door *cries in my winter gear*

*cough* But I digress. This interview is overall great. Minus one thing: how and when will everything happen (other than the MK stuff)? For all we know, it may be yet another year before things start to happen. :/

Well, Sera would have to meet Haibara first, but then again, she did know of Conan and Agasa, sort of, without prior personal meeting. I don't think figuring out Haibara's true identity would have too much significance to Sera, imo. As it seems she only needs to hide her identity to avoid drawing attention from the BO and halt others' thought processes of connecting an age shrink which would jeopardize Conan's identity. Well, this is going along the lines that Sera isn't BO and she is either a neutral party or affiliated with the FBI or CIA or something. But if she is BO...another reason why Sera and Haibara must meet soon!

And I also think Sera and Haibara will have a battle of wits, as the other way wouldn't be too fair since Haibara is still in a kid's body and, from what I've seen, lacks any martial arts training. I'm thinking they'll meet along a case that Conan is involved with and as Conan runs around, he'll have Haibara keep an eye on Sera and the 'fight' will begin.

And as for the wedding, I'm very excited. This seems to be the next Satou-Takagi development since the kiss, can't wait for summer even more.
