Just because Sera looks so young doesn't mean that she really is. Wasn't Natsuki (the murderer from the Detective Koshien with Heiji and Hakuba) much older than she looked? I'd still bet she's younger than Akai, but she could very well be an FBI agent.

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

Yes, less than 20 years to go till DC finishes!
Just because there won't be 160 + volumes, it doesn't mean it won't take 20+ years to finish up. (for all we know, he may make it like MK sometime in the future.)
I'm still not sure how much I trust some 2ch posters on this subject, but I will go along with it for now (as they could just be repeating back what the fans want to hear--about it being Akai's sister and having Sera & Haibara interacting). Don't mind me, I'm just always skeptical of internet fan reporting of all sorts.

i agree, after all there are millions of fans out there, it wouldn't be too farfetched to think this whole thing is fan conjured. But I'd like to think it's not, call it optimism

well, considering we've gotten a little over 70 volumes in 15 years, I think it's a fair estimate. And with 90 volumes to go, 11 files per volume, roughly a file a week, that'd take ~19 years.
