See, I don't think he's stupid. A little reckless, a little arrogant, but not stupid. I don't find his actions stupid, I find them realistic. When people are panicked, they react differently, this goes for both teenagers and adults. Some can keep a cool head, where others tend to act rashly, especially when it's personal.
