I was expecting a filler, I must say that I am so not disappointed, Gosho indeed gave us a nice surprise..
On the other hand, what Conan said about Sera that she looks like someone he knows, and does not feel she is an enemy supports the Akai sister theory, which also explains to me his actions by not being so cautious
Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.
This case is turning out quite awesome. Panty-shot aside, Sera is freaking awesome, and again, I care more about her than the actual case this time. And I'm really tempted to sift through the old cases to find a possible person that Sera could be since Conan said he feels like he met the girl before.
And about Conan not being so paranoid about being in the papers whenever he goes through a KID heist, aside from the whole BO won't care too much for a random kid that is able to foil a thief the police keep failing to capture, I think he's still going with the glasses and Clark Kent-Superman thing. He's said it to Haibara in the Pisco case.
I see Sera from Page 3 third picture like Eisuke's face without the glasses. Look like Sera not just knowing Conan's name and even Agasa's name at the beginning without their introduction. Sera thinking Sleeping Kogoro always have Conan at his side like Heiji suspected Conan back to Holmes' Freak Murder Case.

Sera is flat-chested but she is a girl or so the proofs support until now... saying that Eisuke was more feminine doesn't precisely work in your help since you are saying he wa a feminine boy but he was INDEED a boy.
Gosho is being very obvious this time for us readers if both that Sera was a girl and Akai's little sister turn out to be true... are w getting brighter? Somehow I doubt it Everything is so interesting right now and it seems the plot is thickening again
I look plenty like a guy... I even get mistaken for a guy all the time. I have small boobs, broad shoulders, masculine face, deepish voice, and i don't act feminine at all. But still in the end, I still have a vajayjay. I really doubt Sera's a guy. She could easily be gay. That'd be awesome~

Sera should be a girl since she really looks girly to me. The only way she can be a boy is when she's only in disguise and I had enough of people having disguises in DC.
Anyway, I've just finished reading it.. The case so far seems to be interesting enough, though the Gunma prefecture mentioned seems to be a bad premonition of the next recurring character (guess who ?)

1. She's from America.
2. She's damn smart.
3. She seems similiar to somebody Kudo knows.
4. She looks like Akai.
DEDUCTION: IT'S AKAI'S SISTER! Or other relative. Doesn't matter. She still is important. And from this chapter I'll say she knows it ain't Kogoro that solves all those cases. After all why else would she put a pressure on the fact that Conan is always around when Kogoro solves something. She may don't knowthat he's Shinichi but she knows he's smart. And that it's him solving EVERY LAST BIT OF A CASE.

I was gonna leave the manga forum but I needed to say this. I REALLY hope she's not Akai's sister looking for Akai. The unoriginality from that would just piss me off, especially since that seems so completely unnecessary.
